Season One Episode Ten – . . . Must Come Down

A man is driving his truck and seems very upset. He stops his truck on a railroad track with a train coming towards him. What is wrong with him? Is he trying to die? And kill a bunch of people on the train.

Amy is home she calls TJ and leaves a message. She sees a derailment on the news. There are 9 dead and some injured Nora is in the process of dropping Michael off at the office and hears about the train crash. Rushing he leaves his phone in the car. Nora calls after him but he does not hear her. The phone buzzed and there was a text from Amy.

Rodney is getting an MRI As TJ waits outside the room. Amy sees TJ in the hallway and asked about Rodney, but TJ is very short with her. He needs to get over himself. He doesn’t even know yet that the procedure Amy suggested worked or not. Besides, he’s inexperienced and does not know what he is taling about.

Richard has everyone together in the hallway giving them instructions on what to do for the mass casualties. Look at him trying to be a good leader. Everyone needs to jump in as needed. All the doctors step up and start treating patients.

Gina looks concerned as she looks for one of her patients. Gina thinks he is the cause of the train crash.

Amy now thinks that she’s not a good doctor since her talk with Richard. She gets short with Sonya who walks away.

The man that helped get a lot of people off the train doesn’t want credit for helping. Jake takes him to a private room. The man goes on to tell Jake that he is a screw up and his son doesn’t even talk to him.

TJ looks inside his Dad’s room as his Mom exercises Rodney’s legs.

Michael comes to Gina and tells her that the patient she’s looking for is not on the casualty report. Then they see the police come in requesting someone. The person they are requesting is Gina’s client. Gina takes the police and Michael to her office so that they can hear the last message the patient left her. Gina gives them the full story.

TJ is trying to save a young patient. Sonya and TJ are giving him CPR back-to-back but it’s not working. Then finally they get a pulse and everyone yells and celebrates. What a great win!

Amy’s near the elevator and sees Nora coming out when it opens. She confronts Amy and tells her to stay away from her husband. Amy is shaking up by the confrontation. Amy gets home and Katie sees her crying in the bathroom. Katie asks Amy what is wrong and Amy tells her nothing. Katie goes on to say that she can’t shut her out again. That now that she has her back, she can’t lose her again. Amy apologizes to Katie. Amy says she has screwed everything up and Katie tells her she needs to fix it.

Amy goes to see Mrs. Dixon. Mrs. Dixon says she had never met Amy before. Amy looks confused. Amy says she thinks her husband’s death was her fault. Mrs. Dixon says that wasn’t true, that her husband will never take a beta blocker because he has low blood pressure. Amy is then very confused. Richard told her something different. Okay Richard. Your story is falling apart.

Jake goes to tell Bradley, the hero he put in the private room, that he is famous and on the news. Bradley looks on as he sees his son on the news saying how proud he is of his dad. The son comes into the room and sees Bradley and gives him a hug. Apparently, the newscaster located Bradley and Bradley’s. Son and told him where they were.

TJ finds Amy and gives her a hug, saying she was right. TJ apologized to Amy. Rodney can now move his legs again.

Amy runs into Nurse Liz and tells her she needs to tell the truth. Liz looks nervous. Richard goes into Michael’s office. It is about Bill Dixon. Amy says she went to Mrs. Dixon house to apologize but learned learned the truth. Amy says Richard is the one that gave Dixon the wrong medicine. That she had asked for an autopsy because she figured out what happened. Richard looks confused and he knows that he has been caught. That’s right, Richard. Fess up!!

Flashback. Richard is with Dixon, but leaves the room when he gets a call from the police about his son, Lucas, who is in a holding cell because he swung at an officer. Richard is very upset. Dixon coded and Liz goes in to try to help him. Richard comes in to take over. Richard grabs the wrong tube of medicine and Dixon immediately codes. Richard realizes that he gave Dixon the wrong medicine but hides it.

In the office with Max, Micheal and Amy, Richard says he panicked. Michael goes on to say that they had spoken to Liz and that Richard had threatened her not to say anything. Richard said he was scared, Max said Richard’s license will be suspended. Richard apologizes to Amy for saying she did it. Amy says she couldn’t forgive him for it. Okay. He did apologize but why lie in the first place and make it worse for himself.

After leaving Michael’s office, Max confronts Amy about going to Mrs. Dixon’s house. Amy tells Matt that the hospital needs to pay Mrs. Dixon whatever she asked for. Amy also goes on to say that Max gave her a hard time when she was trying to get reinstated trying to get her leave the hospital and not be a doctor again. Max doesn’t say a word. You tell it, Amy! Now, everyone don’t try that at work because you may get fired. This is just a tv show. Just saying.

Amy has softer attitude now when she goes to the man that fell and hit his head. Amy tells him she has something similar happened to her, but he would recover. Melony, his fiancé, comes into the room. They are happy to see each other.

Amy runs into Gina, who is mad at her for not listening to her the day before. Amy tries to talk to Gina, but she walks away. Okay Amy, you are alway going to her to listen. Gina does have a point. Everyone is on edge.

Richard’s wife Victoria is calling him as he packs up his things to leave his office. Now Richard has lost his job with no income. I’m sure Victoria does not work. Richard was never concerned about what could happen if he had not income. What will happen to his family. I hope he has money saved. Just saying.

After the success of TJ’s father recovery, TJ says he’s going to buy drinks at the bar for everyone to celebrate. Jake comes in preoccupied texting Amy. Sonya gets upset with Jake and tells him to get over Amy because she heard Nora telling Amy to stay away from her husband. Jake gets upset with Sonya and tells her that they are done. Does that mean he will no longer be friends with Sonya? Jake goes back to the hospital looking for Amy to prove Sonya is wrong. He goes to Michael’s office and sees Amy with Michael. They are kissing.

I told you! Team Michael. That’s not right I know because Nora is about to have the baby. Hey, the man can’t help the way he feels. It’s bad for everyone involved. And they end the season with that. What a cliffhanger.

Season One Episode Nine – What Goes Up . . .

This episode goes into how Amy and TJ are connected. TJ is always there to protect and look at for Amy. And now we know why.

Flashback. Pregnant Amy is on the plane with Katie. Someone  is having a medical emergency. Amy comes over to help. It’s TJ, very young. His lung has collapsed, and Amy says she is a doctor and can help him.

Richard has everyone togethr and is making an announced that Amy has passed the boards. Richard goes on to say that Amy has her credentials back and doesn’t have shadow anyone. Michael give Amy her doctor’s jacket back, everyone claps for her and are happy. Way to to Amy!

TJ brings his dad, Rodney, in. Rodney doesn’t think anything is wrong with him but TJ wants to get him checked out anyway. Rodney fell and hurt his knee. Amy examines him. As Rodney walks across the room they notice he has a limp.

Sonya is back from leave and Jake is glad to see her. They go to a patient’s room. Her name is Nikki, who has a cough. She has her daughter Lila with her. Apparently, Nikki was taking Lila to school bacause the child mentioned she is hungry; so I’m assuming she eats breakfast at school. Nikki tries to leave so that she can take Lila to school but Jake tells with her symptoms, she can’t leave the hospital. Jake takes Lila downstairs to get her some breakfast.

Amy has Rodney’s results and goes back into his room and tells him that he has fluid in his knees. Rodney then goes on to say that he can not feel his legs. Amy and TJ look concerned.

Flashback. Amy still examing TJ. She thinks he has fluid in his lungs and ask him if had had recently been diving. TJ tells her that he was diving before he got on the plane but he thought he waited enough time. Amy tells TJ that he’s not supposed to fly a few hours after he dives. Now Amy has an idea what is wrong with him.

Amy and TJ are trying to figure out why Rodney can’t feel his legs. TJ is thinking it could be a trigger if he had respiratory infection. TJ’s trying to also think of things that could have happened to cause him to lose the feeling in his legs.

Jake is doing an MRI on Nikki and Lila is in the room coloring. Lila asked Jake why he has crayons at the hospital and Jake goes on to tell her that sometimes his daughter comes to visit him and he needs something for her to do while she’s there.

Nurse Julie comes to find Richard and tells him that Amy had her look up the Dixon’s file. Richard gets nervous and then calls his lawyer. The lawyer tries to assure him that everything will be fine. The lawyer also suggests that he should start a standard defense.

TJ checks with Amy and they get the results. They didn’t get the results they wanted. Amy tells TJ that Rodney would need an MRI.

Jake gives Nikki her results and he thinks it’s cancer. Then a social worker comes in to let her know they have to put Lila, her daughter, in temporary custody. Nikki panics and says they cannot take her.

Jake goes to see Michael about Nikki trying to keep the daughter with Nikki. Jake says that Nikki will leave the hospital if the Social Services tries to take her daughter. Jake asked for more help or more time to figure out what to do with Lila. Michael gives Jake 24 hours to try to come up with a plan.

Rodney is having his MRI as Jake and Amy look at the screen and the test shows he may have cancer. Amy says they need to call the specialist in. TJ looked very upset.

Richard calls Nurse Liz into his office and they closed the door. You can’t hear what they’re saying so not sure what’s going on.

Lila wakes up scared and she wants her mom. Sonya takes her to Nikki’s room. Nikki starts to cough up blood. Lila is escorted out of the room. Sonya is working on Nikki as Jake consoles Lila.

Flashback. Amy tells TJ that she has to put a tube down his throat and she tries to keep him calm. She walks him through the process. It is very uncomfortable for him, but he makes it through it.

A specialist comes in to talk to Amy and TJ about Rodney. TJ knows his dad needs surgery. Amy thinks that she has another way to shrink the cancer. All the doctors are against Amy’s idea.

Nurse Julie comes to find Amy and asked her if she had talked to Richard yet about Dixon. Amy says no. Nurse Julie goes on to say that Dixon died under Richard’s care. Jake over hears the conversation and tells Amy that Richard did get a call about this autopsy report and that it was ready. Amy goes to see Dr. Franco. Amy asked about the autopsy on Dixon. Franco goes on to tell Amy that Dr. Miller said that if Amy tried to get records that she could not discuss files with her. Now Dr. Franco says that since she is reinstated, she can. Amy asked about Bill Dixon. Dr. Franco says Dr. Miller requested an autopsy. Dr. Franco noticed that the medical records had been changed after Dixon died. Amy looks concerned.

Lila is sleeping in Nikki’s room and Sonya is with her. Jake comes in and says Nikki is in surgery but Social Services is there to take Lila.

The doctors are in the room talking to Rodney about his surgery. TJ’s mom doesn’t like it because the surgery will make him numb from the rest. of his life. Rodney wants another answer. This is Amy’s opportunity to present her treatment to Rodney. Amy goes on to say there is another way. After Amy explains the procedure and Rodney wants to try it. TJ is very upset with Amy. TJ is trying to talk his dad out of it and change his mind but it does not work.

Flashback. Amy still working with TJ on the plane. Amy gives TJ some encouragement and tells him he will be okay.

 Amy knows that TJ is upset with her and she goes to tell Gina who tries to help her but Amy is determined that she made the right decision. Amy leaves Gina’s office.

Nikki wakes up from her surgery and finds that Lila is gone. Nikki panics and tells Jake and Sonya that Social Services will keep her until she recovers. Nikki says that her lights are out and that she can’t pay her power bill. She knows the Social Services will not give Lila back to her if her power is still out.

Amy goes to talk to Nurse Liz who was there when Dixon died. Nurse Liz lies and does not tell Amy the truth. Okay, that’s why Richard called Liz to his office. What did he say to her to get her to lie.

Flashback. Amy meets TJ’s parents once they get off the plane and they thank him for saving TJ’s life. TJ thanks her also and Amy goes to leave and left her stethoscopes with TJ. TJ tries to give them back to her but Amy tells him to keep them, he may need them in the future.

Amy goes to talk to TJ but he walks away because he’s still upset her. TJ blames her for his Dad not getting the surgery.

Jake and Sonya are in the room checking on Nikki. And then comes Lila. The social worker states that Lila will only be in tempoary custody while Nikki was in the hospital. The social worker went on to say that her home meets their standards. Someone had arranged to have her power bill paid. Nicki apologizes to Jake and Sonya and thanks them for their help. Jake goes to Michael and thanks him for helping Nikki and Lila. Then Michael goes on to tell Jake all he ever wanted is for Amy to be happy. What does that have to do with Nikki and Lila. He is so in love with Amy.

Jake goes to find Amy to check on her. Amy is still concerned about Rodney and if she made the right decision. She also says that she has to talk to Richard before she leaves.

Amy goes to talk to Richard and tells her she knows what happened to Dixon. Amy says he picked up the wrong medicine. Richard tells Amy that she is the one that gave Dixon the wrong medicine. Richard goes on to say that he was covering for her. Amy doesn’t believe him. Richard tells her to ask Liz. Okay, Amy already did that and did not get anywhere with Liz. Richard has blackmailed Liz in some way.

Amy, still upset about what Richard had just told her, she goes to the elevator. She runs into Michael. Michael asked her what’s wrong. He knows something is wrong. They hug, and then they kiss. See. I knew it would eventually happen. Michael has been waiting for the perfect opportunity. Michael, go home to your wife!!

Great episode. Richard is digging a hole for himself and will not be able to get out of it. And the sad part is, he thinks he has gotten himself out of it. Now you know, Amy confessed to Michael and will check everything out. He is Team Amy all the way. Watch out, Richard.

Season One Episode Eight – Man Plans

Woman is dancing down the street and goes into a store where she starts flirting with a man. The clerk confronts her and she flashes him. She then runs down the street with items she didn’t pay for her. She trips, falls and hits her head.

Amy is looking through her phone and comes across an e-mail draft she was going to send to Larson about Dixon. Jake comes out of the store; they are talking outside. Michael is at the stop light and sees them kissing. Michael is shocked and can’t believe what he sees.

 Amy asked Nurse Julie if she recognized the name Dixon and she says no.  Amy then asked Julie if she can look into it for her. Nurse Julie then tells Amy Richard is looking for her.  Amy goes to Richard’s office, and Richard wants her to shadow him with patient for the day.

 Amy examines the patient that fell in the street.  Patient is alert and very chipper.  Amy wants to run tests on her to see what if she has a head injury.

 Jake goes to see a patient who collapsed in the mall.  The patient goes on to tell Jake that he has to get out of the hospital because it’s his 10-year high school reunion.   The patient states the love his life will be there at the reunion.  The nurses are very into his story and start gossiping

 Flashback.  Richard and Amy are having lunch.  Amy is waiting on a phone call from Michael about the field trip her son went on.  She gets a call from Michael, and it doesn’t sound like its good news. Amy repeats that she does not understand what Michale is telling her. 

 The patient, Francine, tells Amy and Richards she is not violent and she doesn’t recognize herself lately.  Gina comes in to check her out.  They will do an MRI and Richard wants Amy to call the sister to get some insight on the family.

Jack is doing test on his patient Wes and the nurses are having fun trying to figure out who the mystery woman is.  Wes’s friend Mandy comes in to see him and he ask why she is there and not at work.  Wes collapses again and Jake orders a stress test.  Jake gets a call to Michael’s office.

Amy calls the sister Connie who is very reluctant to come see the patient. Connie gives insights on her father who passed away. Amy is thinking FTD as the diagnosis.

Jake goes to Michael’s office and Michael drills him on his relationship with Amy. Michael tells Jake that this is not helping Amy with the board and getting her license back. Jake leaves.

Flashback.  Richard comes to Amy after she returns from being out for the death  of her son. Amy gets upset with him and walks away. Richard was offering to help her and Amy was taking out her frustrations on him. 

Amy and Richard look at the Francine’s test results. Patient has systems frontal temporal dementia. Amy explains the symptoms to her. There is no cure. Genetic disorder. Francine asked if she would lose her mind. Her sister Connie comes in the room with her kids who are happy to see their Aunt Frannie. 

The nurses continue to gossip about Wes and Mandy. Wes doing testing but he starts to feel tired and almost collapses again.  Wes is stabilized and more test are ordered.

 Flashback.  Richard comes in to see Amy about the conversation they had earlier.  Amy lets him know that she put her name in to be Chief. 

Amy talks to Connie and lets her know that this is not her fault.  Amy does suggest Connie get tested, but Connie doesn’t want to.  Gina has a talk with Francine.

 Jake gets the results back and Wes has a hole in his heart it is treatable surgery will be simple he will have to miss the reunion now

Jake and Amy meet, and Jake tells Amy that Michael knows that they were together and it’s inappropriate for them to be together. Jake agrees with Michael.

 Amy goes to see Michael and tells him how wrong he was to confront Jake. Amy tells him that she and Jake were together before the accident. Michael tells her it could complicate things with the board, but she can do whatever she wants. Amy leaves and Michael is jealous you can tell.

 Flashback. Richard is told that Amy gets this position as Chief.  Richard states that her bedside manners are not good. The current Chief states that Amy can be taught that skill but Richard goes on to say that you can’t be taught to be nice. 

Amy goes to see Richard and asked about Francine.  Richard tells Amy about Lucas and that they had to put him in a facility. Amy tells Richard that what Francine has not not the same as what Lucas has. 

Francine and Connie are catching up when Amy comes in the room.  Amy wants to draw blood from Connie to make sure everything is fine.  Connie agrees to let her do it. 

 Olivia, the classmate, comes to see Wes to check in on him.  Mandy walks in and its very awkward.  Wes is having his procedure soon.  Jake talks to Mandy to let her know that Wes is crazy if he does not see her.

Flashback.  Amy asked Richard about Bill Dickson. Amy thinks he accidentally mixed up the medicines on Dickson. Richard gets defensive. Amy orders an autopsy.

 Amy and Richard get the lab results back on Connie.  They both seem relieved.

 Wes wakes up and the procedure went well.  Olivia is there when he wakes up. Wes tells her about the story Olivia wrote, and she says Mandy wrote the story.  Wes then realizes that Mandy is the one he has been in love with all this time. 

 Connie is about to leave the hospital with Francine.  Amy gives Connie her results and they were negative for the FTD.  Connie is ecstatic and states Francine is going home to live with Connie.  Francine is pleased that she has the support of her sister. 

Wes is leaving the hospital alone when he sees Manny get off the elevator.  The nurses are looking and are happy that the everything ended well.

Richard and Amy have a recap of their day. Richard gives her his recommendation for reinstatement. Amy lets Richard know she is in a relationship with Jake and that she doesn’t want to give it up. Richard says when she is ready, they will make it transparent to HR.

Nurse Julie is finishing her shift. She goes on the computer, and she finds the file on the Dixon.

Amy is home with Katie and Gina having pizza that night. Amy gets her test results. Katie opens the envelope.   Amy passed the boards.  They are both happy for Amy. 

There’s a knock at Amy’s door. It’s Michael. Michael, stating he read Richard’s recommendation to have her reinstated.  Micheal is also glad she told Richard about her relationship with Jake.  Michael says it’s been hard for him and that he missed her and doesn’t want to push them apart. Amy agrees and then goes on to tell him she passed the board. Michael’s happy for her but leaves before he says anything else.

Okay. Micheal needs to let Amy go but he is stuck in the past. He has a whole wife at home who is pregnant. Amy is the one who the one who does not remember anything and is now moving on with her life. Come on Micheal. Get a grip. Let Amy go.

Great episode. Things seem to be falling in place for Amy. I’m still not Team Jake but I need to get over that too.

Season One Episode Seven .. Secrets and Lies

This episode focuses on Richard and his family. Richard’s wife and two of his sons are finishing breakfast. She asked one of the sons, Lucas, to clear his plate, but he starts yelling at her instead. Lucas drops his plate while still yelling. The other two boys look nervous. Richard enters the kitchen and calms Lucas down.

Amy is with Jake at the apartment. He seems happy at work. Both of them run into Michael in the elevator. They both pretend like nothing is going on.

Jake and TJ have a patient with liver issues. Patient Oliver seems happy, and his son Cary says they have tickets to an event, but Jake tells them they need to reschedule. They may have figured out what is wrong with Oliver.

Sonya and Amy visit a patient, but Sonya knows him and panics. Amy sees something is wrong. Sonya has flashbacks and leaves the room, looking for Richard, but he isn’t there and doesn’t answer her call. Meanwhile, Richard is at home talking with Lucas about therapy and controlling his anger. Sonya goes to the office and has more flashbacks about the patient. Nurse Julie brings in lab results to Sonya, and Amy wants to order more tests; and Sonya signs them off.

Jake and TJ talk privately with Oliver’s wife Alexa about his health condition. He has a genetic disease, cystic fibrosis, but their son does not have it. TJ reassures Alexa that the clinic would have informed them if Cary had the disease. Alexa shares that they separated for a time, and upon reconciling, she discovered she was pregnant. She doesn’t want Oliver to know, while Jake believes they should tell him since he will eventually find out.

Sonya goes back to the room. Amy thinks he has hepatitis B. Ravi who is the patient stated he wants to reconnect with Sonya, tries to touch her arm and Sonya freaks out. Sonya leaves and has a flashback of the patient attacking her. Amy comes out to check on Sonya and asked ifshe is okay. He had done something to her, but Sonya makes an excuse.

Richard goes to see Gina, who tells him that Lucas has bipolar and needs to be in the facility. Richard asked if Gina would consult with Lucas and Gina says to bring him in.

Sonya is back on a bed having a flashback of her taking pictures of her attack. Her phone rings. It’s Amy stating Ravi the patient does have hepatitis B and his liver is failing. Amy want Sonya to call in a verbal order for medicine.

Jack is in the room telling Oliver that he needs to transplant. Oliver needs a new pancreas. Alexis states they are not citizens, but Jake answers that it would not be a problem. Cary wants to be his father’s donor, not knowing that Oliver is not his father. TJ is not happy they are lying to Oliver and Kerry.

Amy runs into Richard outside Gina’s office. Richard tells Amy that Lucas is in there seeing Gina because he is having behavior problems. Lucas comes out, Amy goes in and tells Gina that something is wrong with Sonya, and she wants to help her.

Sonya is paged to go to the nursing station to get the medicine she ordered for her patient Ravi. Sonia gets to the medicine and goes into his room to give it to him. Ravi starts talking to her. She gets upset; she starts giving Robbie the medicine. Sonya pours it out, gives him air. He starts to code and Amy comes in and starts trying to save him. He stabilizes. Amy makes Sonya leave the room.

Amy comes to Sonia and she starts explaining what happened. Richard comes in and says he no longer needs him. Amy covers for Sonia. Sonia wants Sonia to stay away from Robbie.

Jake and TJ get the match for Oliver he goes into surgery. Everyone waites for the outcome.

 Amy is was having dinner with Katie and talks to her about being safe and what to do if someone tries to attack her. Katie says that Amy explained everything to her a while ago and she is good. Amy did not remember telling Katie that but is relieved that Katie knows to be safe.

 Oliver makes it through the surgery and Alex says she will explain everything to him when he wakes up. TJ says Oliver came through the surgery and it stable.

Amy calls to check on Sonya and she is not doing well. She gave Sonya an update on Ravi. Amy asked if she ever got any help. Sonya admits she told her mom, but her mom’s said just to sweep it under the rug. Ravi’s father is one of her fathers business partners. Sonya states she is going to turn herself in.

Amy goes to Ravi’s room and takes his finger to open his phone. Amy gives it to Sonya to look through his phone. After scrolling throught the phone, Sonya finds a woman’s names. The woman comes in to see Sonya telling her she may have hepetatis B. Emily figures out who the person is she could. have gotten it from. Sonya ask if Emily had been raped but Emily denies it at first. Emily says his name is Ravi Barr. Sonia tells a woman he raped her too. Sonia tries to get Emily to press charges against Ravi, but Emily is not willing to do that. Finally, Emily agrees to press charges.

Sonya goes to Michael’s office to turn herself in. Sonia turns over the rape kit she had taken five years ago. Michael asked her if everything’s okay and she said now she is. Sonya states she kept the kit in the freezer just in case she would turn it in one day.

TJ watches as Alexis tells Oliver that Cary is not his son. Oliver then explains his side of the story. Oliver had a feeling although he never said anything. Oliver says he will figure out later how to tell Cary.

Ravi wakes up and is handcuffed to his bed. He has read his rights by the police. He knows he attacked Sonya and tried to act like he didn’t. I’m glad Sonya came forward.

Richard is having second thoughts but made the right decision sending Lucas away. Vicki, his wife is trying to talk to him. Richard confesses to Vicky that he killed a patient. Richard says to Vicky that if Amy ever figured it out, he would loose his job.

 Amy gets out of Jake’s truck to go take the exam again. She is in the exam room waiting for the instructor to tell them to start the test . Amy seems excited aand ready to retake the exam again. Now she can move on with her life.

That was a good episode for stressing how important it is for women to report if they are ever attacked. Hopefully, Sonya will get the help she needs to heal.

Season One Episode Six – One More With Feelings

A young woman is at a party and checks her temperature. A fight breaks out and she goes to Lee. She gets glass stuck in her hand and can’t feel it.

Amy goes back to her house, and Katie lets her in so she can look around. Gina is hoping that bringing her back to the house would trigger her memory. She looks around and sees pictures of Michael and his new wife. All the decorations have been changed. She goes to her old room and has an old memory. She goes to Denny’s room, and it is just the way she left it.

Gina has a VIP patient. That comes in stating he has a pain but doesn’t. You know what it is approach you. He comes to all the He comes there all the time complaining about being sick.

Amy sees Jake and tells him about her visit to her old house. Jason asked her how she feels about it and he says Michael is married now and it’s about to have a baby.

Amy and Jake go to see young Chloe who? Has the glass stuck to her head. They are all worried that she has a high fever. Her father comes and worried about Chloe says she would die if they if they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. They asked questions and so far, they have to run a bunch of tests.

Flashback. Katie goes to Amy’s. New apartment to see if she wants to live there, maybe shows her around, but Katie is not convinced she likes it. Angry is at work all the time and she’s alone all the time.

Michael gets home, asked Katie how the visit was with Amy being at the house. Katie, thanks. It went well and her mom was trying to. Move on with her life. Michael looks concerned and is sad. Katie suggests that she goes to live with her mom. Michael says it’s not. Katie’s face placed fits Amy.

They run tests on code, and all the tests come back normal. So now they’re concerned that. They don’t know what’s wrong with their Chloe. Her dad is arguing. He says she wouldn’t have to move back home from college. Amy and Jake can’t figure out what’s wrong with her. We are very happy. Patient is getting new patient wanted to know. Hot.

Why can’t he get in the X-ray room? The key is Janice is in Gino’s office talking about his pain.

Katie goes to have a night at Amy’s. Katie tells her she wants to move in with her. Amy is excited. Michael is very concerned about Katie movie but finally realizes is what is what she wants Michael said about Katie. Katie moving out. He has an argument with Nora about the new baby coming.

Richard comes in to check on Crowley, he orders more test for her, still running tests and unclothed and not knowing what’s wrong with her.

VIP patient test come results come back that he has amassed in his stomach. No one believed it at first, but he does have a true. Illness. Page to Chloe’s room after review more tests

Amy thinks that it’s his appendix they do a scan they. When we’re made that, it’s her pendance and her symptoms are getting better. Now her dad has to decide if he can continue to if she can continue to live on campus or come back home. Dad decides to let her go back to. Campus as long as she can, she’ll be careful.

And we’re using the locker room with Jake and sees in his locker at the same power drink that she recognizes from her apartment. She thinks about it and puts it together, the clues together. Amy asked Gina if she knew about Jack. Amy goes over to Jakes house and asked him why he didn’t say anything. She goes into his house.

Okay. We all know they were going to get together eventually. I was keeping hope alive that maybe just maybe she would get back the Michael. Okay, I know he is married. Can’t break up a happy home. I just don’t like Nora.

Season One Episode Five – He Ain’t Heavy

This episode starts out at a church. A wedding scene shows a couple at the altar repeating their veils. When it’s time for the bride to say hers she passes out. Everyone panics and call for 911.

Amy is having a session with Gina, who wants to see how much more she remembers if Amy goes back to the scene of the accident. Gina wants Amy to go to the house she shared with Michael to see if it triggers anything. Amy asked Gina if she had any men in her life over the past eight years. Gina says not that she knew of.

Sonya is asking Jake why Amy hasn’t discovered that they had a relationship yet. Jake says he is not going to tell her. Sonya looks at him concerned. Why is she so concerned about that. Sonya is so jealous.

 Amy is shadowing Sonya for the day. Sonya is giving her the cold shoulder. Amy is trying to figure out what she did to Sonia. Jake tells Amy in the past she has told Sonya she shouldn’t be a doctor. Jake gives Amy a coffee and she asked him how he knew what she liked. Jake made-up an excuse. He wants to tell her but not sure how she will take the news. Besides, she is still in love with Micheal.

Kayla, who fell, is in the hospital, and Jake is trying to understand her condition. She confesses to taking Xanax for her wedding nerves. Tyler, the groom, is upset and believes Kayla’s use of drugs means she doesn’t want to marry him. Kayla insists she only took a few pills.

Amy enters the room where Sonya is treating a boy named Sam. Sam is in the hospital preparing for a stem cell transplant to help his older brother, Leo, who is sick. He has had several transplants before to support Leo’s health but is now facing complications from his current treatments. Their mother encourages Sam to stay focused so he can have the transplant, while Leo feels guilty about Sam’s suffering. The father believes Amy is judging their situation. Amy assures him she is not. Leo wants to talk to Sam alone to check on him, and Sam tells Leo he can handle it, but Leo doubts him and wants Sam to stop the treatments.

Flashback. Nora comes home to tell Michael she is pregnant. He tries to look surprised, but it seems he isn’t happy. He had mentioned he thought she couldn’t have children, and Nora says it’s a surprise for her too. Did Michael marry her thinking she couldn’t have kids? It feels like he doesn’t want more, especially after what happened to Danny. Anyway, Michael, you’re going to be a dad again. Get use to it.

Michael goes to Gina’s office to tell her Nora is having a baby boy and Nora wants him to tell Amy. He is asking Gina for advice. Gina tells him to let Amy know soon. Amy is trying to get over the fact that she is not still married to Michael and he has remarried. And a baby will really upset her. I bet Gina does not want this to set back Amy’s progress. She’s going to find out eventually. Might as well go ahead and tell her.

Jake comes to Gina’s door as Michael is leaving. Jake is there to ask Gina to do a psych consult on his patient, Kayla. Jake is worried Kayla may have some issues. Later, Gina gives Jake an update after talking to Kayla.

Richard is meeting Sam’s parents because Sonya asked him to. Sonya tells Amy that Sam is scared and they have different opinions. Amy checks on Leo and expresses concern for Sam. Sonya suggests they find a different donor. Sonya and Amy disagree again.

Jake plans to run more tests on Kayla, as Tyler also wants more tests. Jake suspects she has a lesion since her blood pressure won’t decrease, and he is unsure of what is wrong.

Parents are in the room to assure Sam that everything will be okay. Leo states he won’t do the transplant, and the parents believe Sonya influenced him. They want Sonya taken off the case. Amy suggests talking to them.

Kayla has an MRI, which shows she needs surgery but there are risks. Jake presents her with options and advises her to go through with the surgery. It feels like she has no choice, as her life is at stake. Kayla agrees to the surgery.

 Jake goes back to Gina’s office and tells her that he and Amy were seeing each other seriously. Jake tells Gina that they were together 5 months before the accident. Jake wants to tell Amy. Gina is concerned that Jake should wait.

Amy talks to the parents and wants to speak with Leo. Michael discusses with Sonya how she upset the parents and mentions Sam not doing the transplant. He tells her she should have considered another option, and it will be investigated. Amy informs Leo that his parents are trying to save him, causing Leo to go into shock. Despite a nurse telling her Leo signed a DNR, the parents yell at Amy to save him, so she continues, and Leo is stabilized.

Flashback. Michael is telling Nora. She’s not sure if he can do it again. The baby may not have his heart, Nora convinces Michael everything will be fine.

 Sonia comes to tell Amy that Leo has signed a DNR that night before. That this is his way of getting everyone to listen to him. The parents come to Amy and thank her for saving Leo, but Amy is instructed to go to see Michael. Gina is there. They convinced Amy she is on her last warning before they must let her go. The board members are not happy, including Richard. Parents decided not to go through with the transplant, they will look for another donor. Leo is happy and Sam is relieved.

 A wedding ceremony is done before the surgery. Jake comes to tell everyone that Kaley pulls through the surgery. This is another reason for them to celebrate and Tyler looks relieved.

Amy sees Sonya in the hallway and tells her she was sorry about saying Sonya should not be a doctor. Sonya smiles and thanks Amy. Richard comes up when Amy leaves and tells Sonya that if Amy gets out of the line again to tell him. Sonya agrees. Richard is so sneaky. And Sonya should be ashamed of herself.

Jake is in the office eating cake when Amy comes in. He gives her some and she starts to talk about the cake she had at her wedding to Michael. Jake just smiles as she talks. Maybe it’s a good thing he did not tell Amy about the two of them. And I don’t think she would believe him anyway.

Flashback. Michael comes in the house and gives Nora flowers to apologize for the way he acted. Michael then says he’s there for her.

Michael goes to Amy’s apartment. When she opens the door tells her that Nora is having a baby. Amy asks how far along is she. Michael says she’s six months. Amy says that she had already known that and Michael says yes. Amy ask Micheal what did she say when he told her before. Michael said Amy said “good luck”. Then Amy is quiet, then again says it in a nicer way. “Good luck” Michael leaves and Amy closes he door. Michael turns around like he is headed back to Amy’s door, but he changes his mind and walks down the hall.

Michael is in a very hard place since he still has feelings for Amy. He also loves his wife, I think. I’m not sure now because Amy looks at him like it was eight years ago and I think he misses that. They say time heals all wounds but I’m not sure Michael ever got over Amy. I could be wrong but he looks sad all the time or just too serious. Amy is trying to move on too but without her memories, she doesn’t know what to do. Hopefully, she will start remembering things soon. Good episode.

Season One Episode Three – Day One

Flashback. Any is looking on a board at all the vitals for each patient in their care. One patient’s blood pressure is dropping. Amy runs to the room only to find out he had been moved. TJ is getting ready to perform a procedure but did not notice the patient’s vitals. Amy gets there in time. Jake comes in to check on TJ. Amy goes on to tell Jake that maybe he should make sure his patients are okay before going home.

Richard meets with the doctors to inform them that Amy is coming back to work that day. New protocol in place where Amy is not allowed to see patients alone; she is to observe with one of them. Amy cannot consult with patients or make diagnosis. Of course, Sonya has something to say about that.

When Amy gets to the hospital that day, everyone is silently staring at her. Amy meets with Michael and Gina first to go over the rules she will have to follow. Amy is shocked she is starting back as a med student, but she will take what she can get for now. Gina informs Amy that she wants to monitor her brain activity a few weeks longer. And Amy has to retake the boards. Amy says she understands and will not make Michael look bad.

Richard is on the phone with his lawyer and is worried about what Amy could start remembering, especially the pending autopsy report. If Amy starts to remember, Richard could be in big trouble. The lawyer goes on to tell Richard to make sure Amy fails. I knew he was up to no good.

Amy goes to Richard’s office and he gives a few of his rules and hands her scrubs to wear. Richard tells her that she will be observing Sonya for the day. Richard also tells her that her belongings from the office are in a box on the table for her to take with her later. Amy agrees to get the box later.

Amy changes into the scrubs and goes to the nurse’s desk to let them know she would be observing Sonya that day. Jake overhears her and says no, she will be observing TJ. Liz gives her the room number where TJ is with a patient. Amy gets to the room and tells TJ she will be with him. TJ is talking to the patient about his condition as wife looks on. After Evan gives his symptoms and TJ examines him, Amy looks concerned and ask a few questions herself. Amy gets TJ out of the room and tells him they need to get the wife out of the room so they can get the truth from Evan.

Flashback. Amy comes in to check on a patient and questions the med students on what procedures they need to perform. Amy ask TJ to check the patient and give his assessment. TJ does not answer the corrections correctly at first. After pressure from Amy, TJ gets it right. Before leaving, Amy looks at Jake and tells him to make sure TJ does not screw it up.

TJ agrees with Amy’s plan and they go back into the room to let the wife know that it will take over four hours to get test done on Evan. The wife agrees to leave and come back later. With Evan alone, Amy starts to ask him a lot of questions. Evan is not telling them anything and gets defensive.

Sonya and Jake go into the room of an elderly couple, Dante and Ruby. They are talking to the couple and found out they have been married 59 years. Jake breaks the news to Dante that he had a drop in his blood sugar and will be have to stay in the hospital one more night. Dante complains about his stomach hurting and Jake has Sonya to run more test to see what’s wrong.

TJ receives Evan’s test results, which show no alcohol in his system. Despite this, Amy remains convinced he has been drinking and worries about liver failure. While waiting for more results, Amy struggles to remember her email password on her work computer. TJ gets the results, and Amy offers a suggestion for TJ’s next steps.

Sonya pushes Dante in a wheelchair taking him to get more test done. Dante mentions that Sonya and Jake make a good team; hinting they were a couple. Ruby jokes with Sonya who admits nothing is going on between the two of them. While Jake is waiting on Dante’s results, Richard comes in the room where is talking to Sonya. Richard ask Sonya how it was going with Amy and Sonya has no idea what his talking about. Richard goes on to say that Amy was supposed to be observing her for the day and Sonya has no clue. Jake ask Sonya to leave the room. Jake confronts Richard on him trying to set up Amy to fail.

Flashback. Amy is monitoring TJ on a procedue he is doing. Amy scolls TJ on what hs is doing. Jake gives TJ encouragement. TJ performs the procedure with no mistakes. Amy leaves without telling TJ he did good.

Jake is talking to Dante and Ruby. Sonya comes in with test results stating that Dante will need surgery. Jake gives Dante the risk of them doing surgery. Dante refuses to do the surgery but Ruby talks him into it.

Amy is looking at more of Evan’s test results. Richard sees TJ in the hall and ask him how things were going with Amy. TJ says everything is fine. TJ gives Richard and update on Evan’s progress. TJ gets a page and goes the the nurse’s station. They tell him that Evan left the hospital. TJ calls him on the phone to let him know he needs to come back because he has liver failure.

Richard calls TJ and Amy with Jake in a meeting to discuss Evan. Richard tells TJ he should have been more forceful with Evan letting him know his condition. Richards says TJ should not have let Amy influence him. Micheal comes in the room and Richard gives him an update. Richard says Amy was wrong to diagnose, reckless, and violated protocol. Amy says it was true. Richard turns to Jake and tell es him next time not to second guess his decisions. Evan collapsed and was later found behind a dumpster in the parking lot.

Flashback. Jake comes into Amy’s office to discuss training. Jake does not think they will get anywhere with her being a drill sergeant. Jake ask if Amy would step back and let him do the job he was hired to do.

Evan is not doing well and they are waiting on more test to come back. Richard comes to report they will do more antibiotics to see if they works. Amy apologies to TJ. Micheal tells Amy to go home. Amy looks at TJ and he turns away. Amy leaves.

Amy goes home. Amy checks Evans scans again and call Richard. Amy thinks it’s an environmental exposure. Amy suggest that when Evan wakes up to ask him where he had been the day before. Richard text Amy later that she was right. Evan got laid off two months ago and was doing odd jobs in a warehouse. Amy goes to the warehouse where Evan had been working to found out what the conditions were. Amy looks around and comes across a big animal trap. Evan had been handling dead rats. Amy calls TJ to have Evan put on different meds.

Jake goes to check on Dante and Ruby and they are laying on his bed. Dante tries to wake up Ruby but she does not move. Jake gets concerned and has Dante moved off the bed so he can exam her. Jake tries everything but Ruby is dead.

Amy goes in to sit with Evan and his wife while she talks. Evan begins to cough and TJ comes in to take the ventilator out. Evan starts breathing on his own. Evan is off to a full recovery.

Flashback. Amy walks in to see Jake still at the hospital. They exchange a few words about why they are both still there. Amy learns Jake is separated from his wife. Amy is there late because she fights with her daughter all the time. Amy is eating a candy bar for dinner and Jake offers her some of his food. Jake looks at her laptop and her password is taped to it. Amy says it was her sons favorite stuffed toy. Jake apologizes for bringing it up.

Dante is in his room packing up to leave the hospital. Jake walks in and ask him what his was doing since Dante was due to have surgery that day. Dante says he is not having surgery. There was no point in it since Ruby was gone. Jake leaves and goes to a lobby area to think. Sonya comes up to check on Jake. Sonya apologized for not being a better friend.

Richard calls Amy in to let her know how impressed he was that she drove all the way to the warehouse where Evan worked. Amy thanks him for listening to her. Richard makes the comment that Amy has overwhelming support from Michael and that the neosurgion was her best friend. Amy then says that she can’t remember what she did to him but she was sorry. Richard says he appreciates what she said. Amy gets her box and leaves. Richard looks down at the phone and turns the recording off. Look at sneaky Richard.

Amy is still at the hospital and text Micheal to let him know that everything turned out good that day. Micheal is in his office and text back a thumbs ups. Amy then text to see if he had left yet. Michael said he was almost home. Michael is lying; and why?

Jake comes by and sees Amy still in one of the offices and ask her why she was still there. Amy says she is still trying to get in her emails and she does not remember what the password is. Jake gives her a password to try. Amy is shocked. Jake says she was not good at hiding what her password was. Amy goes on to say that it was her son’s favorite stuffed animal. Jake says he didn’t know that. Amy says was locked out but would try it the next day.

On the elevator, Gina ask Amy how her day was. Amy says she knows wha her email password is and that Jake told her. At home, Amy waits for midnight to try the password. When she hits enter, all her emails pop up.

Now she will finally see what was going on before she had the accident. She has thousands of emails and will take a minute for her to come across some things. I’m just happy she can start to put pieces together.

Season One Episode Two – Try, Try Again . . .

This episode starts with a woman at a bar with a man; looks like a blind date. She starts to feel bad and excuses herself. She is having memories from her past, gets upset and falls the the floor.

Amy is reviewing her old patient files to reconnect with her past. She has a new roommate, the woman she met at the restaurant. Jake comes to examine the roommate while Amy shares her thoughts on the woman’s condition. After Jake leaves, Amy goes for a walk and finds Michael, asking about her practice plans. She mentions a board meeting she wants to attend, but Michael tells her she can’t go.

Richard is walkinga round new interns and Amy sees him. Richard gets a call and excuses himself. He is very frustrated with the woman on the phone. The woman mentions she was in court so I’m assuming it’s his lawyer. Why would he need a lawyer. Then the woman tells him to call her when he gets the autopsy results. Oh. This has to be about the Dixon patient that died. He looks really worried.

Sonya is still trying to get Jake to talk to her. She is feeling guilty for reporting Amy about her conduct. Jake states that all the doctors should stick together. I’m sure he does not trust her now; I’m thinking they were friends. There is something about Sonya too I can’t put my finger on.

Amy is in her room talking to the patient trying to figure out what is wrong with her. Sonya comes in with a wheelchair to take Amy for her FMRI. On the way out the door, Sonya advices Amy not to confuse the patient with her advice. Really Sonya. Who do you think you are.

Gina shows Amy different pictures from her past trying to get a real sense of how much she remembers. After the scan, Amy tells Gina that Michael is refusing to help her and she wants Gina to talk to him. Gina advises Amy to wait to see what her results would be. Amy gets mad at Gina.

Flash back. Six years ago. Gina comes in Amy’s bedroom try to get her out of bed. Gina cons her with junk food and Amy’s choice in a movie. It works. Amy goes back to work but angry at the world.

Amy sees Richard in the hallway since her accident and gives him a hug. It’s very awkward. Katie comes from out of Amy’s room and Amy stops her. Amy ask if they can sit and catch up. Katie acts nervous and gets up to leave. Amy ask Katie what happened between them the two of them. Katie gets upset and leaves.

Jake is back in the room talking to the patient about her condition. Amy is giving her advice and Jake looks annoyed. Jake advices the patient not to seek a second opinion as he looks Amy’s way.

The board is meeting and ask for an update on Amy’s progress. Micheal says she is moving along greatly. Amy then walks in the room to plead her case. Members of the board are annoyed that Amy just shows up without being invited. Amy says she can relearn all the new procedures she doesn’t remember. Max, the COO, says they will have to discuss further.

Amy gets back to her room and sees a young woman sitting next to the patient. The young woman says she is Grace, Simone’s daughter. Grace ask Amy what is wrong with Simone. Amy tells her that Simone has lupus. Amy explains the disease to Grace. Simone wakes up and sees Grace and is very happy to see her. Simone starts to have an attack. Amy gets ups to help Simone and calls for a doctor. A nurse comes in and Amy starts giving her test to order. Jake comes in and tells Amy to get away form Simone.

Flashback. Amy is resting one of the staff rooms and Gina comes in to tell her to go home. Amy says she is doing what Gina asked her to do, come back to see patients. Gina tells Amy it’s going to take time for her to heal.

Richard comes into the office where Jake is and ask how Simone is doing. Jake give him an update. Richard then states that he heard Amy was giving orders to the nurses. Jake says it was just a rumor; she was trying to help. Someone comes in to tell Richard the the Dixon autopsy results were back. Richard looks concerns as he leaves the office.

Richard goes to get the autopsy results and the doctor has discrepancies with some the medicine she found. Richard goes on to explain that the family pushed for them.

Jake is checking Simone when Amy walks in. Simone is not doing well. Grace is very upset and tells Jake he needs to do more. Jake promises Grace he will not stop until he figures out what is wrong with Simone. Jake walks out of the room and Amy follows him. Amy wants to express her opinion on what she thinks is wrong with Simone. Grace overhears them talking. Jake puts in a new order.

Amy is back in the room and is talking to Grace who states she has not seen her mom in four years. Grace is now worried that Simone will never meet her son. Amy tries to tell her everything will be okay.

Michael walks in the room and calls Amy out in the hallway. Micheal goes on to tell Amy that the board has decided against her coming back to work anytime soon. Amy is shocked. Amy’s HR complaints and her reputation is not good. Michael also ask Amy to give Katie some space and time.

Flashback. Sonya and Richard are walking down the hall with Amy. Sonya is tryin to get her patient records together so she can explain what she would do. Amy gets annoyed with Sonya and ask her if she wanted to be there and if should be a doctor. Sonya walks away and Richard tells Amy she can’t speak to people like that.

Gina is doing testing on Amy and Richard looks on. Richard is very concerned. Amy gets back to her room and sees Simone gone. Amy goes to ask the nurses where Simone went and she is told they moved her to ICU. Amy goes to look for her but sees Jake first and he gives Amy an update. Jake doesn’t think Simone will make it through the night.

Richard reprimands Jake for not following orders after listening to Amy. Sonya watches as Richard mentions that the daughter saw him talking to Amy. He warns that if Simone dies, the daughter will sue for malpractice, which could lead to Jake facing a hearing and possible suspension or termination.

Gina comes in to tell Amy she has been release and can go home. Gina offers to take her home. They get to Amy’s apartment and Amy says it looks like a showroom. Gina gives her a tour of the apartment. Amy ask if Katie lived there and Gina says she lives full time with Michael. Amy ask why and Gina says they were fighting all the time and the three of them decided it would be best if Katie went to live with Micheal. Amy thanked Gina for bringing her home. Gina gives Amy a new phone she purchased for her.

Flashback of any coming home and going staight upsets without saying a word to Michael and Katie. Michael promises Katie things would get better.

Katie is home looking through an old photo album. Amy is at her apartment looking through her old photo album but there are not any current photos in the album. Gina calls to check on Amy to see how she is making out. Amy sounds depressed and Gina tells her not to shut down or put on a mask.

The word mask makes Amy think about Simone. Amy goes back to the hospital to look for Jake to tell him her theory. Jake says Grace refuses to talk to them. Somehow, they convince Grace to let Simone have the surgery. The surgery was a success and they wake for Simone to wake up.

Amy goes to Michael’s office and apologized to him for pushing him to let her become a doctor again. Amy states that someone will hire her. Michael then tells Amy he is married now. Amy states she hopes she appreciates what she has. Then Michael gets on the phone to call Max. Michael informs Max that Amy is protected under the disability act. Michael also states the Amy could sue if she wanted to. Max states he will take it to the board.

Richard is talking to Jake when Amy comes down the stairs. Richard walks away. Amy thanks Jake for helping her off the floor the other day and says that Jake does not hate her like everyone else. Jake takes Amy to Simone’s room where they look in. Simone is holding her grandson as Grace and her husband looks on.

Amy calls Katie and wants to apologize for anything she has said or done to her. Amy says she will always be there for her. To me, Katie seems like a brat. Now she could have reasons for acting this way and I guess we will found out later. Right now, she is not one of my favorite people.

Amy is going through a lot in the few days she had her accident. What I can say is that she is cool as a cucumber. She is not lashing out at anyone but seeing where she fits in. Not all people would be that calm. Not sure I would be as calm as her. How are you feeling about the entire situation? Would you be calm?

Season One Episode One – If at First You Don’t Succeed . . .

I came across this show on Netflix after moving past it several times. I’m glad I decided to take a chance and watch it.

Amy Larson is Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital. Amy doesn’t seem to be the most liked person at the hospital but everyone says she is the best. Amy seems to be very strict and want her doctors to know how to treat patients. What’s wrong with that.

A new pregnant patient comes and suffering from a infections she thinks. Amy is called in by Dr. Jake Heller and Dr. Sonya Maitra is also there. Amy comes in to exam the patient who knows what is wrong with her. Amy tells the patient to let the doctors figure out what is wrong with her. The husband of the patient states that Amy has poor bedside manners. Amy continues to exam the patient and orders labs.

Amy sees Dr. Richard Milier in the hallway. Amy ask Richard about a patient that died in Richard’s care and questions him about the procedures he performed. Richard gets very defensive and Amy wants him to tell her what really happened. Richard does not say much and Amy says she ordered an autopsy report.

Amy comes across Dr. TJ Coleman at the nurses station and reprimands him for giving his patient and the family false hope when he knows that person is sick. TJ says he would go take care of it.

Back in the pregnant patient’s room, Jake and Sonya are checking her vitals and she goes into shock and has a seizure. Jake goes to tell Amy what happened and that she is stable now. Jake confirms that more test had been ordered and it would take an hour to get the results. Jake and Amy go to the parking deck and get into her car and start messing around. Jake gets a call that the labs are back and they leave the car. Before leaving Jake lets Amy know he loves her and she responds back at she loves him. Wow! I didn’t see that coming. They don’t look like they are good match at all.

Amy is still trying to figure out what is wrong with the pregnant patient. Amy goes to the nurses station to schedule more test but Nurse Julie is leaving and does not want to take the orders. Amy gets angry with her. Dr. Gina Walker comes in to save the situation and distracts Amy.

Down the hall comes Dr. Michael Hamda. Gina sees him and walks the other way leaving Amy to talk to him. Michael gets on Amy about all the bad customer surveys Amy has been getting and that she needs to do better. Amy says she doesn’t care about the surveys and that she is a good doctor. Michael tells Amy it matters and tells her to go home and get some rest.

Amy is in her car going home. It’s raining very hard as she is singing to music. Amy gets a text on her phone and gets distracted only for a few minutes. Amy looks back and sees is that she is about to hit a truck head on and swerves her car. Her car flips over and Amy hits her head on the window.

Amy goes into emergency surgery. When she wakes up, she didn’t remember she was in a car accident. Amy ask how her family is. Gina tells her they are fine. Amy thinks they were in the car with her, but Gina tells her she was in the car alone. Amy does not believe her and starts hyperventilating. She is given medicine to calm her down. Gina is concerned and takes Amy down to get an MRI. Gina is asking Amy questions and the answers are not from the current year. Gina then realizes Amy has a gap in her memory.

Gina goes to tell Michael about Amy’s condition. Jake watches with concern, and Gina asks him to join the other staff for a meeting. Michael informs Richard that he has been chosen as Interim Chief. Richard suppresses his excitement in front of Michael, but we can tell he is thrilled. There’s something about Richard that makes me uneasy. What is he hiding?

Gina give Amy an update on her condition. and that she has lost eight years of her memory. Amy ask to see her family. Gina brings Michael in first. Amy looks at him with love and hugs him. Michael looks concerned. Amy senses something is wrong and Micheal tells her they have been divorced for four years. Then her daughter, Katie comes in. The last memory Amy has of Katie was when she was nine years old. Amy is amazed at how beautiful Katie is. Next, Amy ask for her son, Danny. They all look sad at Amy and tell her that Danny had died seven years ago. Amy is devastated. So Micheal was Amy’s husband and works at the same hospital as her. I bet that is interesting.

Michael calls a meeting with the staff to give them an update on Amy. Michael explains that Amy has lost eigth years of her life and will be recovering for a while. Michael announces that Richard will be the Interim Chief. Everyone is in shock, especially Jake. Jake knows that Amy will not remember the relationship they had. Maybe that’s a good thing. So far, I don’t like him for her.

Amy trying to deal with her memory lost tells Gina it may be better she does not remember because of everything she lost including Michael and Danny. Gina reminds her of the successes she had accomplished during those years. Amy ask Gina what happened to Danny. Gina says he as on a school trip and his heart gave out. Amy then ask Gina if that was why she is no longer with Michael. Gina says she needs to ask Michael who can give her the details.

Amy is moved to a patient room the same floor she worked on. Michael is hoping it will trigger her memory. Everyone stares as she passes them in the hallway.

Jake is taking the news hard. Sonya comes outside to check on him. Jake tells Sonya that he and Amy were together. Sonya is shocked and ask why he didn’t tell her. Jack says that no one knew because she is the chief.

Katie and Michael are sitting in the cafeteria. Katie is concerned about Amy and nervous to let her know she no longer lives the her mom. Michael is trying to calm Katie down and says they need to take it one day at a time.

A few of the nurses and doctors are behind the nurses station gossiping about Amy and making jokes. TJ comes in and says they need to be ashamed of themselves. They all look guilty. TJ walks away.

Amy is sad thinking about all the years she can’t remember. And she is grieving the lost of her son, Danny. She falls the the floor crying and Jake hears her. Jake comes in to help her to her bed. Jake is so hurt she cannot remember the relationship they had.

Richard goes to his new office, Amy’s office. Amy’s things are still in there. Richard calls his wife to let her know he made cheif and she sounds so excited for him and says he deserves it.

Jake is still trying to figure out what’s wrong with the pregnant patient, Phylicia. Dr Peter Douglas performed the procedure that Amy had just suggested before she had her accident. There are complications with the procedure because Phylicia’s blood pressure was dropping. Peter wants to stop but Jake tells him to keep going. Phylicia has a seizure and they have to stop the procedure. Peter then blames Jake for not wanting to stop. Sonya gets Phylicia stable again before leaving the room.

Michael comes to see Amy and tells her she should be resting. Amy is just guessing that Michael moved on and she just threw herself into her work. Amy then ask Michael what happened between them. Michael is not ready to talk about it yet.

Micheal is called in to go over what happened with Phylicia. Richard tries to blame Amy for ordering the test that almost killed her. Jake takes up for Amy. Peter comes in the room with the results of the test and it turns out Amy did the right thing ordering the test. Now they have to convince Phylicia to have the surgery she needs; but she refuses because of the earlier incident. Michael goes with Peter to talk to Phylicia and her husband. Phylicia has the surgery and it was a success.

TJ goes to see Amy. Amy is so happy to see him and ask if he works at the hospital now. TJ says he is an intern all because of her. Amy asks if she was rough on him and he smiles. TJ says he would not be where he is now if it wasn’t for her. Okay, there is some history there. Maybe she was his mentor before.

Gina come in Amy’s room and tries to have a pep talk with her. Amy talks to Gina about Michael. Gina tells Amy this is her chance to do things differently and that most people don’t get that chance. Gina seems like a good friend.

Sonya finds Jack and he is mad at her for reporting Amy about how she talked to Phylicia when she first came in. Sonya thinks she did the right thing. Amy is at the nurses station when Phylicia comes by. Phylicia asks what happened to Amy and she says she was in an accident. Phylicia thanks Amy for her help and that she is the reason she is still alive. Amy has no idea what Phylicia is talking about.

Amy goes back to her room to call Michael. She asked him if he can help her continue to be a doctor. Michael says he would try. Michael hangs up the phone looking sad. In walks a pregnant woman who must be his wife. I knew he was hiding something from Amy. He looked so guilty every time he was around Amy. Just tell her Michael. Might as well keep ripping the bandaids off.

This was a great episode and I’m pleased that is moving along at a good pace. Amy just wants her life back and will do everything she can to make that happen. I ain’t made at her. What are you thoughts? What do you think of the first episode?

Season One Episode Six

This is an intense show. You will not believe who the killer is. .

Starts with Catherine at the lake house with her parents and sister. They are on their way to the boat and Catherine’s sister ask her to bring her inhaler. Catherine gets the inhaler and starts to spray all the air out of it. They are out on the boat and Catherine’s sister dies from suffocation. Okay, that was creepy.

Anna calls Jack and ask him to come to the lake house. Anna tells Jack who killed Rachel and she drops her location to him. Jack is crying and tells Anna that Zoe is dead. Anna says that she think she knows who killed Zoe. Jack says he is on his way. Priya comes up as Jack is leaving and tries to stop him. Priya is asking him all kinds of questions and calls for back up. Jack knocks her out. Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. He’s going to rescue his baby!!

Richard is scaring Anna and comes after her. Anna gets her gun out of her purse and starts shooting it. Anna gets him cornered and locks Richard in a room. Catherine (Lexy) comes after Anna and they start fighting. What a good cat fight!!

The police comes to Jack’s house and finds Priya on the ground. Priya gets a call from the sheriff who states the Clyde had new evidence that Rachel and Helen were blackmailing Lexy Jones about her sister’s death. Lexy had confided in Rachel about the death. Priya then realizes that Lexi is Catherine. Priya tells the sheriff that she is on her way to Lexy’s house and to send backup. Look at Priya all grown up trying to get the case solved. She was a little timid at first but now she is on it.

Jack gets to the house and tries to save Anna but Lexy points a gun at him but there are no bullets. Lexy is shot point blank in the head by Priya. The police show up and later found Rachel’s finger nails in one of the drawers. Wow!

Anna and Jack are sitting on the steps outside the lake house. Anna tells Jack about how on her 16th birthday, Rachel had one of the men she invited attack Catherine. She says the Rachel, Helen and Zoe watched the attack. Anna says she tried to tell Jack so many times but couldn’t. While Anna goes to talk to the reporters, Priya comes over to talk to Jack and says she’s sorry for his loss.

ONE YEAR LATER

Anna is back on the news and is pregnant. She and Jack are back together and Anna looks happy. Jack and the little girl are packing. Jack later comes to pick Anna up from the station and they are going to a trip. Finds out they are going to visit Alice.

They get to Alice’s house and while unpacking, Anna comes across a letter. She takes the letter downstairs and start reading it. The letter explains how Rachel, Helen and Zoe were murdered. The letter goes into detail on how it all started. After Anna disappeared, Alice begin to watch all of Anna’s old video tapes. Alice even went to Charlotte’s grave hoping Anna would show up there. Alice ran out of tapes and saw one still in the video camera. It was from Anna’s 16th birthday and Alice saw the brutal assault on Anna. Alice was furious. That’s when she started her revenge. She planned out every murder. Alice even pretended to have dementia to cover her tracks. After each murder, Alice walked down the road naked. Anna finches the letter and looks at Alice. Anna smiles at Alice.

OMG!! I did not see that coming. That fragile woman turned out to be not so fragile at all. She is truly a Mama Bear. The next person that messes with Anna better watch out. Great show! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
