Season One Episode Six

This is an intense show. You will not believe who the killer is. .

Starts with Catherine at the lake house with her parents and sister. They are on their way to the boat and Catherine’s sister ask her to bring her inhaler. Catherine gets the inhaler and starts to spray all the air out of it. They are out on the boat and Catherine’s sister dies from suffocation. Okay, that was creepy.

Anna calls Jack and ask him to come to the lake house. Anna tells Jack who killed Rachel and she drops her location to him. Jack is crying and tells Anna that Zoe is dead. Anna says that she think she knows who killed Zoe. Jack says he is on his way. Priya comes up as Jack is leaving and tries to stop him. Priya is asking him all kinds of questions and calls for back up. Jack knocks her out. Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. He’s going to rescue his baby!!

Richard is scaring Anna and comes after her. Anna gets her gun out of her purse and starts shooting it. Anna gets him cornered and locks Richard in a room. Catherine (Lexy) comes after Anna and they start fighting. What a good cat fight!!

The police comes to Jack’s house and finds Priya on the ground. Priya gets a call from the sheriff who states the Clyde had new evidence that Rachel and Helen were blackmailing Lexy Jones about her sister’s death. Lexy had confided in Rachel about the death. Priya then realizes that Lexi is Catherine. Priya tells the sheriff that she is on her way to Lexy’s house and to send backup. Look at Priya all grown up trying to get the case solved. She was a little timid at first but now she is on it.

Jack gets to the house and tries to save Anna but Lexy points a gun at him but there are no bullets. Lexy is shot point blank in the head by Priya. The police show up and later found Rachel’s finger nails in one of the drawers. Wow!

Anna and Jack are sitting on the steps outside the lake house. Anna tells Jack about how on her 16th birthday, Rachel had one of the men she invited attack Catherine. She says the Rachel, Helen and Zoe watched the attack. Anna says she tried to tell Jack so many times but couldn’t. While Anna goes to talk to the reporters, Priya comes over to talk to Jack and says she’s sorry for his loss.

ONE YEAR LATER

Anna is back on the news and is pregnant. She and Jack are back together and Anna looks happy. Jack and the little girl are packing. Jack later comes to pick Anna up from the station and they are going to a trip. Finds out they are going to visit Alice.

They get to Alice’s house and while unpacking, Anna comes across a letter. She takes the letter downstairs and start reading it. The letter explains how Rachel, Helen and Zoe were murdered. The letter goes into detail on how it all started. After Anna disappeared, Alice begin to watch all of Anna’s old video tapes. Alice even went to Charlotte’s grave hoping Anna would show up there. Alice ran out of tapes and saw one still in the video camera. It was from Anna’s 16th birthday and Alice saw the brutal assault on Anna. Alice was furious. That’s when she started her revenge. She planned out every murder. Alice even pretended to have dementia to cover her tracks. After each murder, Alice walked down the road naked. Anna finches the letter and looks at Alice. Anna smiles at Alice.

OMG!! I did not see that coming. That fragile woman turned out to be not so fragile at all. She is truly a Mama Bear. The next person that messes with Anna better watch out. Great show! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Season One Episode Five

Now the show is starting to get good. Anna and Jack have so much baggage and just need to work it out. Anna gets up to leave Jack in his truck. Both of them are quiet and don’t say much. That morning, both of them want to text each other but neither one of them give in. They are both stubborn.

Since Clyde put the reward money out to help Rachel’s killer, the sheriff station has been non stop busy with people coming in saying they know what happened. Priya comes into a meeting Jack is having with his boss and says that Anna is a suspect and she wants to question her. She even thinks Zoe may be a suspect. Jack goes off saying Priya is on the wrong track and that they need to continue to look at Clyde. The sheriff makes Jack leave the room and go follow up on some of the other leads. He then gives Priya permission to contact Anna. They all want to get beat up by Jack. I would not want to get on his bad side.

Jack goes to Clyde’s home and accuses him for the murder of Rachel. Jack shows Clyde text messages and a sex video. Clyde goes on to accuse Jack of sleeping with Rachel. Jack gets upset and tries to arrest Clyde which does not go as planned. Clyde gets in his car, tells Jack to get a good lawyer and then drives away. Now in what world would anyone get away with not getting arrested. Jack just let him drive off. Only because he knows Clyde will spill the beans.

Priya goes to Alice’s house to interview Anna. While she is waiting on Anna to come down, Alice makes Priya some coffee. Priya looks at the cup and it’s just hot water in the cup; but Priya pretends it’a good. Anna comes down and Priya ask her questions. Priya also mentioned that the doors at St Hilary were locked and ask Anna how she got in. Anna says that everyone at the school knows how to pick the lock. Anna states that if the students showed up late, the doors were always locked so they had to find a way to get in the building. Priya also ask Anna to look at the yearbook and show her pictures of her friends. She points out Rachel, Helen and Zoe.

Jack calls one of the leads from this list he has and talks to a man who knows Rachel. He says he took her to an apartment in Atlanta and she came out with her faces bruised. Jack gets the address and after doing some investigation, discovers that Richard had lived there.

Zoe comes by the the sheriff station to see Jack. She lets Jack know she is scared and that she may be next. Zoe goes on the mention Anna’s 16th birthday and how Anna is not the person he thinks she is. Jack leave Zoe in his office to go find Richard. Calm down Jack. Don’t do anything stupid.

Jack goes to the bar where the camera men hang out. He confronts Richard about beating up Rachel. Richard makes a comment about Anna and Jack beats him up. The sheriff is called in and Jack is taken off the case. See what a temper can do. I just knew Jack could not stay calm.

Zoe stays around the station and Priya ask her questions and shows her a picture from the yearbook. Priya ask why the four of them were no longer friends. Zoe tells her its five of them not four. Priya ask Zoe to show her the other friend. It turns out to be Catherine. Zoe leaves and goes home. She seems a little shaken up, looking around her. She goes to take a bath. Someone comes in and kills her. Now where is Anna right now? Is she still at her mom’s house.

Richard goes back to the hotel and finds the rooms for himself and Anna have been checked out. Richard tells Anna he has a place for them to go. Anna agrees to go. Why. She could have just gone to her moms’s house. On the way there, Anna starts to ask questions about where they are going. Anna has a flashback of the group having a party in the woods. Three men come up and they bring liquor. They make Anna and Catherine drink out of the bottle. One of the men start messing with Catherine. The car gets to the house and Anna has a change of heart and tries to call a car service. Why did she go there in the first place. She does not know that man like that. And his wife Lexy is there too! Oh no! Apparently, she does not watch scary movies!!

Jack gets home and is looking through the yearbook that was left on the counter. He feels water dripping and it’s coming from ceiling. Jack goes upstairs and is calling Zoe’s name. He breaks the door down and finds Zoe in a bath of blood. He goes over to her hoping she was still alive.

Anna goes in the house behind Richard and looks around feeling uneasy. She’s asking all kinds of questions. Richard goes into another room. Anna starts looking around and comes across pictures on the wall. Anna sees pictures of Catherine. Then she looks closer and sees that it’s Lexy.

Could you imagine being trapped in a house knowing you need to found your way out of there. See, that’s why you do not get in cars with someone you don’t know very well. She better go in the run, hide, fight mode.

Season One Episode Four

Anna is on news reporting the body that was found before the sheriff gets to St Hillary. The body they found is Helen’s. When Priya gets there, she interviews Anna. Anna says she got a call from Helen to meet her at the school that morning. Anna says when she gets there, she finds Helen dead. After speaking to Priya, Jack questions Anna and tells her not to leave. Does he really think Anna is going to listen to him.

Priya and Jack are looking around Helen’s office. They see Anna and Richard outside talking. Jack ask Priya if she got the report back on Richard. Priya says Richard was arrested for assault; he broke a woman’s jaw. Jack goes outside to look for Anna but she is gone. He ask Richard where Anna went and they have a heated conversation. Jack walks away. Probably for the best.

Anna had gone outside to call Jim, who wants her to get a good story to use so that she can get her anchor seat back. Anna goes to the mayors office and convinces him to have a town hall meeting that evening.

Jack and Priya get to the morgue . The forehead of the body had the word LIAR written out in staples. Jack and Priya are sure that the killer is the same person. They found the same bracelet in the mouth of the victim. Where are all these bracelets coming from.

Jack goes home and goes through Zoe’s dresser to see if she has the same bracelet as the victims. He finds it in her dresser as Zoe walks in asking Jack why he is going through her things. Zoe goes on the say that Rachel made them. Jack then gets a call from his boss that he has to attend the town hall meeting. Jack is not happy because he does not want anything leaked out from the investigation.

Anna is in her room when she gets a voicemail from the police station who leaves a message that they were checking up on Alice from the night before. Anna goes to see her Alice. Anna tells Alice that when the story she is doing is over, Alice will have to move to Atlanta with her. Alice is not happy about the conversation. Anna sternly tells Alice that she will have to get her some help.

Back at the station, Priya calls to get an update on the phone records for Rachel’s phone. She is told that Jack cancelled the request but Priya put in a new request. What is going on here. Did Jack not think she would not call to check on the request. He is getting sloppy.

The town hall meeting takes place and turns out to be a disaster. No one would listen to anyone and it became a big argument with everyone pushing each other. Anna gets this all on tape and Jim is happy with the results. This is what Anna needs to get her career started back up. Zoe runs into Anna after the meeting and accuses her of making it look like she had something to do with it. Anna tells her to go home because it was not safe out there. Zoe is scared and leaves.

Anna finally replies to the text that Jack had sent the day before. They agree to meet at a familiar location. When they get there, they have a heart to heart talk about why Anna left town. They end of having sex in Jack’s truck. Will this reunite them.

Lexy is on her way into town to meet with Clyde for an interview. At the end of the interview, Clyde puts out a 50,000 reward to find Rachel’s killer. Lexy is pleased with her accomplishment at getting ratings. Richard accuses her of trying to out shine Anna. Lexy tells him she can’t have what’s hers.

Priya looks through the yearbook she took from Helen’s office. She finds all kind of pictures of the group hanging out together. Then she notices that they were all wearing the same bracelet that was found on the victims.

I must say, Priya is doing more investigative work that Jack, who is so busy trying to cover his tracks. Priya may be the one to solve this investigation. I’m still not sure who the killer is. Maybe you have figured it out already.

Season One Episode Three

Maybe this episode we will give us some more answers about who the killer is. Maybe this is to throw us off on who the real killer is. I was also thinking it could be Anna but now I’m not so sure.

Anna gets the opportunity to return to the anchor desk. She is all dressed and getting her make up done. When Anna gets ready to go on air, in walks Lexy at the last minute. Lexy tells everyone that she had to babysit for her sister at the last minute. I bet Lexy did that on purpose because she thinks Anna is after her husband. Anna leaves both hurt and embarrassed. She takes the eggs Alice had made for her and puts them all over Lexy’s car. Lexy will come out to a stinky mess.

Jack is home looking through Rachel’s phone. He comes across a sex video of Clyde. Meg comes in the room and startles Jack so he quickly closes the phone. Jack tells Meg to go downstairs and that he is coming. Jack goes downstairs to eat. Zoe starts asking Jack questions about Rachel and if he had anything to do with her death. Zoe ask him if he was sleeping with Rachel and Jack finally confesses. Zoe also lets him know about the DNA swab he did on Meg. Jack tries to convinces Zoe he had nothing to do with Rachel’s death. This also tells us that Rachel and Zoe were no longer friends. So what’s up with that.

Priya goes to the morgue to drop off some DNA samples and is asked by the attendant if Jack found his wedding ring. Priya looks very confused. Priya calls Jack when she gets home and wants to know if he wanted to go visit Helen at her house. Jack tells her no because he is already on his way to Helen’s house. Priya mentions the foot print report to Jack. Priya also ask Jack why he went back to the morgue looking for his wedding ring. Priya mentions she has never seen him wear a ring and was wondering why he was looking for it. Jack gets upset and changes the subject. Jack then asks Priya to follow Clyde. When Priya follows Clyde, she sees him go to a dumpster and puts a bag in it. After Clyde leaves, Priya goes to the dumpster and gets the bag out. When Priya opens the bag, she finds sex toys inside.

Since Jack is already at Helen’s house he looks around the yard. The housekeeper comes to the door and tells Jack that Helen works late on Fridays and she should be at the school. Jack goes to school but does not find Helen there. He leaves there, goes to the grocery store. He sees Richard there in line in front of him. They make eye contact but neither of them says a word. With his purchases Jack ask for extra plastic bags. Jack goes to the crime scene and uses the extra plastic bags he got from the grocery store to put over his shoes. Now he is covering his tracks. Jack looks around and ends up near the cemetery. He gets startled by someone yelling at him to stop. He recognizes the man as Coach Willie and ask him why he was there. Coach Willis says he works there now and ask Jack if was looking around the crime scene. Jack finds out from Coach Willie that there are security cameras and ask to see them. Looking at the footage Jack sees someone and recognizes that it may be Anna visiting a grave. Jack goes to the tombstone and knows its his daughter’s. Her name is Charlotte.

Anna is driving back to town and has a flashback about their daughter. The baby is crying and not feeling well. Anna ask Jack if they could stay in that night since the baby was fussy. Jack convinces Anna to leave while Alice watches the baby. Anna gets back to the hotel and Richard comes to her room. Richard had heard the story of Lexy showing up at the last minute. Richard tells Anna that Lexy does not have a sister in law or a sister. Anna looks confused but lets it go.

Jack is called to get Alice who has wander out of house naked again. Jack comes to take Alice home. Alice knows she is forgetting things but changes the subject and ask Jack about Anna. Jack says he still loves Anna and Alice suggest he text Anna and tell her they need to talk.

Jack gets to his truck, text Anna and then goes home. When he gets home he falls asleep in the chair. When he wakes up the next morning, Priya has called him several times. There is a second body. Jack gets to St Hillary and there’s a woman laying on top of a table. It is Helen. Priya tells Jack who found the body. Then Jack looks over and sees Anna standing by the door.

Now why is Anna there and why is she the one that found the body. Is Anna the killer. Now I’m all confused. Is it Jack or Anna. Who do you think it is?

Season One Episode Two

This episode is starting to put the pieces together on the relationship that Jack and Anna has. All they do is fight but you can see they are both hurt. Let’s figure out what happened. I know Anna left but why.

Jack is furious and he drives to Anna’s hotel room. Anna is doing research on her old classmates when she hears Jack’s truck pull up. Jack goes up and bangs on Anna’s room door. Anna answers the door and Jack accuses her of revealing who the body of the dead woman was. Anna says he didn’t say to her not to tell anyone but Jack assumed she would not. They go at it and both agree to stay out of each other’s way. They will coexist while Anna is in town. Jack begins to leave and Anna ask if the husband is a suspect. Jack says a few words then leaves.

Jack and Priya go back to the morgue and the coroner shows them the a bracelet that was pulled out of Rachel’s mouth. The coroner once again ask for DNA samples from them. Jack blows her off again and says that they have to get to the husband’s house.

Jack and Priya go to the husband’s house. He is understandably crying and upset. They ask him questions and he openly tells them about his marriage to Rachel. Clyde, the husband shows them the outside cameras; and they see Rachel on the phone talking to someone on her way out the door. Jack looks very uncomfortable. Clyde also tells them he took the dog for a walk in the rain that night. Jack ask for his clothes from that night and Clyde says he washed them. They thought that was strange and question him about it. Clyde states his shoes were muddy and he just washed everything. Is he trying to hide evidence. What does he think they are going to do with clean clothes. Clyde has also been calling Rachel’s phone; and Jack ask him to stop doing that to not wear the battery down. One the way out the door, Jack and Priya find out that Anna had been to the house questioning him. Why would Anna go question Clyde.

When Jack and Priya get outside, Jack ask her to take pictures of the outside cameras. Jack gets in his car and calls Helen, Rachel’s best friend. After he gets off the phone, he hears a ringing. He searches his truck and finds Rachel’s phone. Rachel was in his truck the night before. He sees that it’s Clyde calling Rachel’s phone. Jack panics and hides the phone as Priya gets back into the truck. They head back to the station. Jack goes in his office and closes his door. Jack tries to unlock Rachel’s phone with no success. What is on that phone that Jack needs to see. I’m sure his contact information is in there.

Anna goes to the St. Hillary, private school where Helen is the head master. Anna has a flashback of her starting school there and her first meeting with Rachel. Anna is there to find out if Helen knows who Rachel was with that night. Helen is very short with Anna as she questions her and does not give Anna any answers. Now what is Helen hiding. They were childhood friends. Helen mentions a 20 year secret the friends had. What is the secret. Helen was not very helpful at all.

Jack goes home and sees his neice, Meg, home alone. He ask Meg where her mother was but she does not know. Why in the world would Zoe leave Meg there alone. Jack then ask Meg if she wants to play a detective game. He takes his DNA sample and swabs Meg’s mouth. What is he doing? Hiding evidence. Jack does not want the sheriff to find out that he slept with Rachel.

Anna is sitting outside Zoe’s house just looking. She has a flashback of her and Jack looking at a house for sale. This is where Anna tells Jack she is pregnant. This was good times between them. We can assume that bought the house. Zoe pulls up in her car and gives Anna the finger. You can see the tension between them two. And that’s Anna’s sister in law.

Priya does her research and finds out that Clyde had been calling Rachel’s phone over and over. Why is he trying to die down the battery. What does he have to hide. Priya also gets the report of the footprint found at the murder scene. It was a boot print that they cannot identify.

Anna goes to her Mom’s house with groceries. Anna ask her Mom how she is doing and then ask her to go to the doctor. Alice changes the subject as she cooks eggs for Alice. Anna gets a call from Jim who wants her to come back to Atlanta to cover the news since he can’t locate Lexy. Alice gives Anna the plate of eggs and it has egg shells in it. Anna looks at the plate and says she has to go back to Atlanta for work. Alice brings the eggs out to Anna in a plastic bag for Anna to eat later. Anna thanks Alice and then leaves. Maybe something is wrong with Alice.

Zoe is home with Meg and almost trips over Jack’s boots that were left on the kitchen floor. Zoe tells Meg to take Jack’s shoes to his room. Meg takes them upstairs and when she puts them down, the bottom of the boots are shown. Could they be a match for the print Priya just got from the report. Jack is becoming a suspect in my eyes.

Jack goes to the morgue again. Jack tells the attendant that he lost his wedding ring and if anyone had located it. Jack has the guy call the housekeeping staff to see if they found it. While the attendant is out of the room, Jack goes into the freezer trying to locate Rachel’s body. Jack finds her and tries to do facial recognition with Rachel phone. At first it does not work until he opens Rachel’s eyes and the phone unlocks. Jack looks at the last text and discovers that Helen knows Rachel was seeing Jack. Jack panics and deletes his contact information.

Helen calls the Sheriff’s office to ask for the sheriff. She leaves a message for the sheriff to call her back. Is she calling to report Jack?

This show is staring to get interesting. I think Jack is the killer and is covering his tracks. So far, everything points to him.

Season One Episode One

If you like whodunit shows, you will love this one. I’m only on the first episode and ready to see what happens next.

This episode starts with a woman bleeding out on top of a car; and it’s raining. Then, it shows Anna running in the rain, coming into her house with muddy shoes and wet clothes on. She washes her hands and throws away a table full of mail. She then looks in her mouth and she seem to have a sour gum.

Anna goes to the dentist the next day and is told she has in infection. The dentist gives her an antibiotic. From there she goes into a building, which seems to be where she works because she has a badge. The badge does not scan her past security and has to get the guard to help her. Turns out, the guard says her badge had not worked in a over a year, so he reactivates it. Okay, what is going on here. And where has she been for a year.

Anna is walking up the stairs and comes across a woman who seems to be a coworker. They exchange a few words, and she continues up the stairs. Anna ends up in an office of a man that may be her boss. After their conversation, he is her boss, Jim, and she has been gone for over a year. Anna is a news anchor and is now back for her job. Jim tells her that they had to replace her with Lexy, who was the lady on the stairs. Anna is upset that Jim gave her job to Lexy. Jim says Anna just disappeared and he didn’t even know if she was coming back.

Anna hears about a story of a dead woman and now wants Jim to let her be a field reporter to cover it. There are no details out yet about the story and Jim is wondering why she is so interested. Jim gives her to chance to make a story out of it. Jim gives Anna this one chance and Anna takes it. Anna request Richard as her camera man. He just happens to be Lexy’s husband. Look at Anna being sneaky and trying to make Lexy jealous. Be careful, Anna. That may backfire on you.

Jack wakes up to a child bouncing on his bed. He plays with the child and then sends her downstairs for breakfast. Jack gets dressed and heads downstairs to help the child get some breakfast. He asks the woman in the kitchen if she had his phone charger because his phone was dead. The woman just grunts. Jack then promises the child he would take her to soccer practice later. Jack leaves the house and heads to work which happens to be the Sheriff’s office. When Jack pulls up, he is greeted by someone he gets into his car and tells him she’s been trying to call him about an anonymous call they received about a dead body.

Jack and the women, Priya, get to the crime scene to see who the person is. After reviewing the body, Jack tells everyone at the scene that the woman is someone they know, and to keep her identity private until he tells the husband. And Jack wants everyone to look for her phone.

Anna gets to the small town and goes straight to the crime scene. Jack tells Priya to let the reporters know to stay back. Priya is not getting anyone to listen to her, so Jack comes to help her out. Out of the blue, Anna yells at Jack “Is it true you know her.” Jack turns around and sees Anna and then walks away. Priya asks if he knows the woman and Jack just brushes it off.

Jack is waiting outside the hotel where Anna is having breakfast with her camera man, Richard. Jack then goes into the hotel later and ask what room Anna is in and goes to her door. Jack starts banging on the door but then hears noises coming from inside the room. It sounded like Anna is having sex. Jack bangs on the door again and then leaves.

Anna doesn’t answer at first but then realizes it may be Jack by the way the person was banging on the door. Anna opens the door and sees Jack walking down the stairs. Richard asks Anna if she knows who was knocking. Anna looks at Richard and says it’s Jack, her husband.

Anna gets dressed and heads to her car. Anna gets to a house that turns out to be where her mom, Alice, lives. Jack shows up and Alice lets him in. Jack begins cleaning up and asking Alice how she is doing. Anna interrupts him, ask why he is there. Anna and Jack exchange a few words. Anna gets the identity of the body and it turns out to be Anna’s old friend, Rachel. Jack informs Anna that no one knows who the woman is; that it’s not public knowledge. Out of the blue, Alice asks Jack when did he get there. Anna looks at Alice and says that Jack has been in the house awhile and that she was talking to him earlier. That’s when Anna assumes something is wrong with her mother. Jack takes Anna to the porch and tells her Alice may be getting dementia and that they found her walking down the highway naked. Anna does not want to believe him. When was the last time she saw her mother.

Anna goes into her old bedroom where Alice is adding fresh sheets to her bed. After Alice leaves, Anna goes into her closet and pulls out a box. The box contains an old video camera and some pictures of her friends, including Rachel. Anna reaches down in the box and pulls out a bracelet.

Jack goes to the morgue and Priya is there waiting on him. The coroner tells them that the stab wounds killed Rachel; she was stabbed 40 times. The coroner also states she found semen and that she had sex. The coroner then goes on to say she needs DNA samples from everyone at the crime scene. Jack tells her he will get the DNA sample to her later. Why won’t Jack give a DNA sample. After Jack and Priya leave, the coroner pulls a woven bracelet out of Rachel’s mouth.

Jack and Priya go to Rachel’s house to tell the husband that she is dead. There is no answer at the door, but you can see someone looking out the window.

Jack goes home where his living with his sister, Zoe. The little girl must be his niece. Jack looks at the counter and realized that he forgot to come take the little girl to soccer practice like he promised. Zoe sees Anna on tv and asks Jack if he knew she was back. Anna is doing a broadcast and made the announcement that the identity of the woman was Rachel. Jack is furious because he told Anna that was not public knowledge. Jack leaves the house.

Anna has a flashback. Anna sees Jack and Rachel in the backseat of his truck having sex. They show Anna’s face and it’s the same clothes she had on the beginning of the episode.

Now what is going on. Is Anna the killer. Or is Jack the killer This explains why Jack has been so jumpy about this investigation so far. This is a slow start, but it’s putting all the characters in place.

Season Six Episode Eight Exodus

June and Moira are at the Red Center sewing weapons into the red dresses. Looks like all the handmaids are receiving new dresses for the wedding. Once dressed, June and Moira meet the other handmaids out front.

The handmaids from the Red Center enter the church and sit in the back. The commanders come in first then wives and their handmaid’s follow them. Nick comes in with Rose. Then comes the groom Commander Wharton and Nick is waiting for him at the altar. Serena Joy comes in with her lavish wedding gown on. What color is that thing. I must say, it was gorgeous. What martha against her will had to sew that thing. Serena Joy holds her head up high as she walks down the aisle. The handmaid’s start passing the blades around to each other. Nick gives a speech, really. Does he really believe half the garbage that is coming out of his mouth. And for the record, I always thought he was a snake.

After the ceremony, the reception begins. The first dance is Commander Wharton and Serena Joy. Then all the other commanders with their wives join in. Just like most weddings. The Red Center handmaid’s start handing out blades to the outpost handmaid’s.

Serena Joy makes her way over to the handmaid’s and wants to give them a speech. She thanked them for their service and sacrifice. Really. Like they had a choice. She promises them things would be different going forward. Rita comes over to get her because it’s time to cut the cake. Commander Wharton and Serena Joy cut the cake. How precious.

The cake is distributed to everyone. They are eating enjoying the cake and wine not knowing the cake has a sedative in it. The sedative will take one to two hours to start working. The only ones not eating the cake are Commander Lawrence, Rita and of course the handmaid’s. Aunt Phoebe lets them know it’s time to leave. They all slide their cake under the covered seats and get up to leave. June tells Moira she is headed to Commander Bell’s house. Aunt Lydia comes in while they are leaving and thinks she sees June. Commander Lawerence and Aunt Phoebe tell her she is seeing things and that she is confused. Aunt Phoebe gets Aunt Lydia food, wine and a piece of cake.

Serena Joy and Commander Wharton enter their new home. Excuse me, their mansion. Commander Wharton goes on to introduce Serena Joy to her new handmaid. Serena Joy is devastated. She then expressed that she did not need a handmaid in her house. There were a lot of words exchanged between them. Serena Joy tries to leave but the guardian is in the way. Eventually, Commander Wharton tells the guardian to leave and Serena Joy flees the house carring Noah.

While Aunt Lydia is eating she notices something under one of the chairs. She ask the waiter who sat there and he tells her the handmaid’s. Aunt Lydia goes over lifts the covered chairs and sees all the cake not eaten by the handmaid’s. She then knows something is up. She is so nosey.

June and the outpost handmaid’s are headed back to their assigned houses. At the end, June heads toward Commander Bells’ house.

Aunt Lydia goes to the Red Center and sees Aunt Phoebe, who takes her to see the handmaid’s. Aunt Lydia looks around suspiciously, and pulls back the covers of one of them to see the handmaid is fully dressed.

June gets inside of Commander Bell’s house. She lets him see her and then stabs him. Janine comes into the room, sees he is dead and thanks June.

Aunt Lydia is in a rage and theatens to have Aunt Phoebe shot. Moira stands up and confronts Aunt Lydia. Aunt Lydia does not recognize her but knows that June is involved somehow. June comes in the room. She talks directly to Aunt Lydia. Then Janine comes in the room. Eventually, Aunt Lydia lets the girls go. The handmaid’s rush out of the Red Center into the night. Where are they going?

Wow, a lot happened this episode. I was on the edge of my seat when the handmaid’s were passing the blades to one another. I just knew someone would see them. The next episode is out but I’m trying my best not to watch it yet. Let’s see how long I last. Hope you enjoyed this episode.

Season Six Episode Seven Shattered

The episodes get keep getting better and better. In this one, June is all in her feelings and she should be.

June and Nick are still in the closet. She can’t even look at him. He is so disappointed he got caught. That’s what you get, Nick.

They show Jezebels when the guardians come in and push the girls into the bathroom showers. Janine gets in the way. and tries to stop the guardians. They grab her out of the way and start shooting the girls. Janine looks on screaming.

Finally, Commander Wharton leaves. June and Nick come out of the closet. Nick knows he can’t make it right, so he acts like he didn’t know, but states that the girls at Jezebels would be slaughtered. June ask Nick to take her back. Halfway there, June ask him to stop the car. June gets out and starts walking. Nick yells for her to stop; and then says some harsh words to her. Really Nick. You expect her to be that forgiving.

Aunt Lydia goes to visit Jezebels and sees where the girls were slaughtered. She is so emotional. She finds the picture that Angela drew for Janine and starts to cry. Why are you crying? You are to blame for this too.

June gets back to the command center. Luck sees her and lets her know about what happened at Jezebels. June then tells Luke that Nick knows. Luke ask her how; and she says she told him. She thought she could trust him. Luke goes off on her. June takes in all in. No one will trust her now.

Rita goes to ask Nick if June made it back okay. Nick is in a foul mood and states he will never see her again. and that June thinks he is a monster. Rita tries to convince him he will see June again. She also mentions that they were friends way before June, and he will be fine. Nick goes on to say, they were never friends. Nick states that Rita is only being nice to him so he can help her get her family out of Gilead. Really Nick, you had to go there. Rita states she was counting on him. Nick is such a jerk.

Serena Joy has a bridal shower in Gilead with the wives. The wives are talking down about New Bethlehem. Serena Joy ensures them that New Bethlehem is a safe place. She is also irritated with them. Serena Joy lets them know there will be no handmaids in New Bethlehem and they seem applauded. Not a good bridal shower at all. Commander Wharton comes to see Serena Joy and sees how upset she is. After she tells him what happened, Commander Wharton states they will treat her with respect. Serena Joy then proceeds to ask if she can have a proper wedding. Commander Wharton tells her that it would have to be in Gilead with everyone in attendance, including the handmaids. She didn’t seem to happy about that, but that’s not going to stop her from having the perfect wedding. Serena Joy selling her soul. She just wants the wives to be jeaslous of her.

Aunt Lydia gets back to the Red Center and is told that Janine had been spared. Aunt Phoebe tells her Janine is now a handmaid for Commander Bell; and has requested a new cloak for her. Aunt Lydia is overjoyed.

June is now the outcast at the command center. Everyone is giving her looks, and whispering to each other. Moira comes to see her. June tells Moira that she thought she could trust Nick. Moira gives June some encouraging words. June goes outside and tries to talk to Ellen, but she refuses to even look at her. June sees Luke and tries to give him an out but he doesn’t want out of the marriage.

Aunt Lydia goes to deliver the cloak for Janine. Commander Bell answers the door, and refuses to let her in. Aunt Lydia ask if she could see Janine; and Commander Bells states she’s not available at the moment. Aunt Lydia says she will see her at the wedding. Commander Bell then states Janine will not be there. Aunt Lydia ask him why, and he states she will not be ready for public viewing. Then he practically slams the door in her face. As Aunt Lydia is walking away, she sees Janine in a window upstairs. Janine is bruised from beatings she is getting. Aunt Lydia is very upset from what she sees.

June is packing her clothes and crying when she sees a car pull up. It’s Commander Lawrence. He is with Mark. Commander Lawrence sees June in the window and goes to see her. He is there to help he states. Commander Lawrence talks about trusting Nick. He then convinces June to get rid of the commanders. He also mentions that Serena Joy will be broadcasting her wedding live. Commander Lawrence then goes to tell June that Janine is not dead but is a handmaid for Commander Bell. June then convinces everyone that she has a new plan. and it is sure to work.

Commander Lawrence goes to see Aunt Lydia. He wants her to get out of Gilead during the wedding. Lets face it, Aunt Lydia is very noisy and will mess everything up. Aunt Lydia is only convince because Commander Lawerence is making her the ambassador for the new wellness clinic in New Bethlehem. New ally, Aunt Phoebe gets June and Moira out of the trunk of Commander Lawrence’s car; and takes them to the basement of the Red Center. June and Moira are very nervous as they should be. June says a prayer and they are hoping for the best.

I’m curious to see if new plan will work. The resistance has some good people helping them this time. Gilead has always won the battles. Keep your fingers crossed.

Season Six Episode Six Surprise

This episode will make you want to slap someone. You always have to be careful who you tell your business to. Sometimes you can’t even trust the people closest to you to keep their mouth closed.

Commander Lawrence stops on the way and question June why she is back in Gilead. She tells him, and he then confess to her that he overheard the commanders wanting to put him on the wall. That gives him good reason now to help the resistance. Commander Lawrence takes them back to his house and have them stay in his basement. As you can remember, that’s where all the martha’s got together for their meetings. Naomi hears him and comes down asking him what he is doing and to be quiet.

June ask Commander Lawrence to take her back to Jezebel’s because they accidently left the letters behind. Commander Lawrence informs her that he cannot do that. June then calls NIck to see if he can go to Jezebel’s and he agrees to do so. When Nick is there, he runs into Commander Bell. Nick makes up an excuse as to why he is there. Nick later comes to Commander Lawrence’s house to give her the letters. Nick wants June to go spend time with him at his house in New Bethlehem, since Rose and Commander Wharton have gone to DC. June agrees to go. June. You have a whole husband waiting for you in No Man’s Land. What are you doing, girl.

Aunt Lydia goes to see Janine to give her the good news that she is getting her out of Jezebel’s. They have a few words and Janine tells Aunt Lydia to leave. Janine states that if she can’t get her Charlotte, then there is nothing she can do to help her. After Aunt Lydia leaves, Janine looks at the cookies and starts throwing things. Okay, we all need to have a meltdown every now and again.

Nick gets to his house and sees Commander Wharton in the window. Commander Wharton is not supposed to be there, so Nick tells June to wait in the car, so he found out while he is there. Nick tells June if it takes more than ten minutes to go to Serena Joy’s house down the street.

Commander Wharton confronts Nick and ask him what he was doing at Jezebel’s. Nick makes up all kind of excuses but Commander Wharton does not believe him. He thinks Nick is cheating on Rose. Commander Wharton then tells Nick to tell him the truth because his life depended on it. Nick be strong and don’t spell the beans. He looked scared at that moment that something could really happen to him.

June sees that Nick is not coming out, so she gets out of the car and goes to Serena Joy’s house. Serena Joy is shocked to see her but lets her in. June ask if she can stay the night there with her until Nick can come get her. Serena Joy tries to get the real reason out of June, but it did not work. They have an intense conversation but in the end, Serena Joy gives in to June staying there.

The next day, Serena Joy surprises June with a visit from Rita. Rita is so happy to see June, and they have breakfast together. Ritas tells June that she works at the bakery and is happy but is only there to get her family out of Gilead. June ask for Rita’s help with the resistance but Rita declines. June understands and only want the best for Rita.

After his interesting night, Commander Lawrence is trying to teach Angela how to play chess. He is feeling confident that the resistance will take down all the commanders, and it will leave him in charge. Naomi comes in to get Angela for her art class. Naomi is so annoying. And Commander Lawrence can’t stand her.

Nick comes over and ask June to come to Paris with him. June is confused and really does not know what to say. There a knock at the door and they look and see Commander Wharton. Serena Joy comes in the room; and then makes June and Nick hide in the closet. June and Nick listen as Commander Wharton talks saying he learned some news that the resistance were going to attack Jezebel’s. He goes on to say proudly that he shut Jezebel’s down. He also praises Nick for telling him. June can’t believe what she just heard. Her Nick. Told the enemy. June can’t even look at him and she can’t move. What has Nick done.

As you can see, Nick saved himself not even thinking about anyone else. His world was about to come crumbling down; and he was not going to have that. This episode shocked me the most so far. I did not see that coming. June thought she could trust Nick with her life, so telling him the plan didn’t seem out of the norm for her. She needs to get out of there and go back to No Man’s Land. No Paris for you, Nick.

Season Six Episode Five Janine

My girl Janine is back and ready to take action. As in episode four, June warned Moira and Luke that things can turn bad in Gilead in a split second. The journey they take in the episode will have your very nervous.

June and Moira are put into a hiding place on the truck that will go to Jezebel’s. When they get there, June and Moira get out and agree to meet Luke and Ellen back at the location in two hours. June and Moira head to the girls’ dressing room looking for Janine. They are told that she is up in the penthouse.

Commander Wharton ask Nick about the two guardians that were shot. He also informs Nick that one of them is in a coma. Nick is now worried that the guardian will remember who shot him.

Aunt Lydia is at Serena Joy’s house in New Bethlehem asking about the retired handmaids and where they should go. Serena Joy has not clue nor is she concerned about what should happen to them. Aunt Lydia is upset. Serena Joy then suggest opening a fertility center where the retired handmaid’s could work. Serena Joy is probably just saying that to calm Aunt Lydia.

June and Moira go up to the penthouse stating they need to freshen up the room before the commanders come in. They go inside and see Janine from across the room. She is singing and dancing with some of the other girls. She is probably drunk out of her mind. Wouldn’t you be too. Janine sees them and goes over pretending like she does not know them. Janine gives them a key to one of the rooms for them to meet her there. Before June and Moira try to leave, one of the commander spills his drink and demands that June come over to clean it up. Commander Lawrence comes in and excuses the martha, not knowing it was June.

June and Moira make it to the room and wait for Janine. Janine comes in so happy to see them. June tells her about the plan and Janine states that the girls are ready. They stay ready she says. Janine has to leave and June tells her she will see them in a week. Janine gives June letters that the girls wrote for their families. June suggest that Janine leaves with them, but she says she has to stay with the girls to get them ready. June and Moira start arguing about who suffered the most in Gilead. June and Moira are getting ready to leave the room when a commander comes in asking why they are in there. The commander asks lots of questions and threatens them. He forces Moira on the bed and before he can do anything, June and Moira start fighting him. They get him down and that’s the end of him. Now they have to figure out what to do with the body. They go get a cart and struggle to get him in there; then they wheel him to the inferno. Alarms are starting to go off because they figure out the commander is missing. How did they figure that out so quickly. Moira is freaking out and June is trying to stay calm.

Nick goes to the hospital to visit the guardian and find his mother there. Nick suggest he can sit with him since she has to leave. The guardian wakes up and Nick ask him some questions and sees he can’t remember much. Nick turns to leave the room, but then changes his mind. Nick closes the door to the room. Well, you know what will happened next.

Commander Lawrence is just walking around while the other commanders are having fun with the girls. Janine flirts with Commander Lawrence and Commander Bell threatens to beat her. Commander Lawrence agrees to take Janine in a room with him again saving her from torture. Janine says she has to leave. Before she leaves, she shows Commander Lawrence a peep hole the girls use to spy on the commanders. Lawrence hears the commanders talking about him. They are talking about closing New Bethlehem and putting him on the wall. He is shocked and concerned at what he has heard.

Commander Wharton goes to meet Serena Joy in some library. He has a surprise for her. He ask Serena Joy to marry him. This women just always pops up and wins in the end. I just knew he was interested in her. So much for being an independent woman, Serena Joy.

After June and Moira get the body into the inferno, they try to make it to the location where they are to meet Luke and Ellen. They get there but can’t get to the van, because there is a guardian standing there talking to Luke telling him they need to leave. June has Moira follow her into the parking lot where they see Commander Lawrence getting into his car. As Lawrence drives, June stands in front of his car. Commander Lawrence does not seem surprised to see June. June pleads with him to put them in his car so they can escape the parking lot.

What an episode. It had me on the edge of my seat. Moira was freaking out just like June said she would and almost got them in trouble. It’s too late to turn back now. Will they make it back to No Man’s Land? Will Commander Lawrence join the resistance now?
