Season One Episode Six

The episode is called “The Last Time” and it was incredible. It exceeded my expectation of the entire show. And it could make you excited and emotional.

Rick and Michonne go back in the compound to make sure the letter Jadis left is destroyed. The letter contained all the information about them and where Alexandria is located.

Rick is called into the commander’s office and is briefed by him. The entire time, Rick is looking for a way out. The commander gives him a story about taking out a city and the reason why. He gets the vibe that the commander wants to take him out. Rick and the commander get into a fight and of course Rick wins.

Michonne makes it to Jadis’ room, and it takes some time to find the letter. She shreds it up and when she goes to leave, someone knocks on the door looking for Jadis. Michonne must do what she had to do. Michonne then leaves the room and is lead to an auditorium where the soldiers are briefed on how to take out one of the big cities saying they will only keep certain children alive. This disturbs Michonne so she heads out the look for Rick.

Rick and Michonne meet up and decide that they cannot let the city get destroyed. They come up with a brilliant plan which reminds you of the old Walking Dead days.

The plan is successful They get recognized for saving the city and are later flown back to where they started. You will have to watch the reunion which will make you emotional. Great finale!!

Season One Episode Three

Rick bargains with Pearl to let Michonne stay in his area. He wants to keep an eye on Michonne to keep her safe.

Michonne is now in the unit Rick use to be in; and working to kill the walkers coming to the fence. She becomes friendly with one of the other workers who is her partner. After saving her partner from a walker. Michonne is making a good impression and the commanders notice.

Rick meets up with Jadis and she is trying to make sure he is not trying to escape again since Michonne is there. Jadis knows what both of them can do together and is warning him.

At this point, Rick comes up with an escape plan for Michonne. He gives her a map to follow through the tunnels. Michonne thinks Rick is joining her but when she gets to the end, Rick is not there. All Michonne had to do was get on the boat and leave. Michonne is not leaving without her man. And she is confused as to why he was not there. So, she decides to go back.

Rick is talking to Pearl and looks up to see Michonne at her post killing walkers. He is so mad but can’t show it. Rick gets Michonne on an assignment so he can keep an eye on her. In the middle of the mission, Pearl points her rifle at Michonne. Rick sees Pearl and steps in to let her know he sees her. I feel like Pearl is jealous of Michonne. Pearl doesn’t know that Michonne is who Rick has been looking for. If only Pearl knew. I bet she would turn Michonne in.

On the way back to the base, Michonne is thinking that Rick does not want to leave the Civic Republic Military. Michonne does something crazy. She opens the door of the plane and pulls Rick with her as she jumps out of the plane. Talk about a plan to get away.

Can’t wait to see where they end up. Of course, they will both make the fall. I never would have jumped from a plane. Really? What was she thinking!!

Season One Episode Two – Gone

Michonne is back. The episode follows Michonne on her journey to look for Rick. She comes across a group who desperately wants her to stay with them but all she wants is a horse. Michonne needs the horse to get to the place where she thinks Rick may be.

After agreeing to stay one night with the group, Michonne becomes friends with Nat and a few other people. She has a talk with the new friends and they decide to join Michonne on her search to find Rick. The new group is traveling together and are hit by smoke bombs from planes flying in the air. How did the airplanes know they would be in the area?

The bombs make everyone pass out. They find a warehouse to stay in and to hide from any future bombs. One of the females in the group is pregnant and when they all wake up, she is unable to get over it and eventually dies. Her husband also gets bit by her and dies.

Michonne and Nat stay in the warehouse until they get their strength up. It takes a while and when they get strong enough, they venture out to continue the search for Rick. They come to the place where Michonne thought Rick would be but is disappointed to see that the place is deserted with a bunch of burnt walkers.

Michonne has a breakdown, but Nat convinces her to keep looking. They hear a plane overhead and it is getting close. Nat makes firebombs and shoots at them down. Once off the plane a group of soldiers see them and start shooting. Michonne comes across and few and fight them with the sword. She comes across one soldier and was about to stab him, but he takes his mask off. It’s Rick. They are both overwhelmed that they found each other.

Rick knows that another plane will be coming soon, and he tells Michonne to act like she had been caught so they would not kill her. They get back to where Rick is living and Michonne is interrogated by a group. Later, Rick and Michonne meet up and he tells her to be very careful. Michonne is now curious about what the place is all about.

Next episode they should get into more details and see Michonne get adjusted to the place. Rick and Michonne are still trying to get away from there to get back to their family. Let’s hope they come up with a plan.
