TV Mom

I finished Season 3 and I must say that it was intense. Bobby is in trouble as always, but is a very smart man when it comes to the market investments. He always comes back on top even when he is almost caught by the law. Bobby goes through so much with his employees; which mean that people you work with do not have your best interest at heart. He had several employees leave him and go work for Taylor. Now Taylor, he trusted with his company when he could not run it himself. I was surprised when Taylor tries to take Bobby’s biggest clients with him. I’m just saying, Taylor better watch his back.

Chuck on the other hand could never get his man. He tried everything but something always comes up. Towards the end of the season, Bobby and Chuck work together to get them both out of a mess. At the end of the season Chuck is fired from his job. I admire the way he goes out; trying to frame his new boss. His boss was not a good man, in my opinion but it turns out that his team was not covering Chuck’s back either. I’m glad Chuck and Wendy were together and she really started worrying about him more than she did Bobby. Now Chuck will go after his old team and boss.

Looking forward to Season 4, which I’m sure will be coming soon.

Over the Christmas break and while using the 7 day free trial on Showtime, I have been watching Billions. I have already seen Season 1 & 2 and now I’m watching Season 3. I had forgotten how good the show is. Chuck is so jealous of Bobby; it’s sickening. At the end of Season 2, Chuck and Wendy were thinking about getting a divorce. Now in Season 3, they are back together. You would think Chuck would have a bad heart with all the stress he gets from trying to take down Bobby. He must be on some good meds. Anyway, I’m only on Episode 2 so lets see where this takes me.

This is the time of year when all your favorite TV shows are off for the holidays.  You find yourself watching all the TV movies on The Hallmark Channel and Lifetime.  I can personally say, I’m loving it.  The story lines are so refreshing.  It’s funny because I don’t know personally of a town so Christmas driven.  It’s great to imagine yourself visiting a town like the ones in the movies.  Enjoy the holidays and the movies!

I didn’t want to watch Season 8.  Someone talked me into it and I’m glad they did.  The season had me on the edge of my sofa.  I mean, I watched all episodes over a week.  Just finished Episode 10 “Apocalypse Then” last night.  I’m not sure yet if it’s the last one; but I will be looked for more.  There has to be an “Apocalypse Now.”

If you haven’t seen it yet, turn in.  I watched in  On Demand on Sling TV.  

Episode 8 – I was not expecting that ending.  And Bonnie smothering her boyfriend after Nate beat him up.  They really all stick together.  

It started off good with the wedding.  The entire group was there.  Things really went wrong at the reception.  Leading up to this, the person lying in the pool of blood could have been any one of them.  

Again, like I said earlier, Gabriel being Sam’s son was a shocker.  What a way to end the mid season.  

This episode had a lot going on as always.  Tess has a coming out moment telling her parents she likes girls; they really took it well.  Kate and Toby find out they are have a boy; now hopefully they will both stop acting so stressed out all the time.  Randall and Beth have a big disagreement over whether Randall should get out of the race for City Council; he wants to stay in, she wants him out.  And I forget, is Randall working?  I know Beth is not right now.  The biggest shock is that Jack’s brother is not dead.  All this time, I thought he died in the war.  Where has he been all this time?

Maybe I missed something, but Athena ask Bobby to move in with her and the kids.  At first Bobby was very surprised and took a while to think about it.  He is still haunted by the death of this wife and children in the fire.  But eventually he comes to his senses and ask Athena to marry him.  

Not sure what really happened with Maddie, but she is not feeling Christmas at first.  And the man that keeps following Chim is Maddie’s husband.  Now, I’m sure he is going to try to do something crazy.   Just leave us hanging until the show returns.  

And the best part was when Christopher got his Santa wish; his Mom Shannon is back but Eddie is not so trusting of her. At least he did a good thing to let Christopher spend the holiday with her.  

What did Devon do?  Not marry the girl of his dreams all because he has the hots for some other woman.  And to wait until the day of the wedding to say something.  He knew weeks ago he was thinking about this.  

And Conrad and his Dad.  I’m glad he is finally really seeing his Dad and not just an image of him leaving the family.  

Julian gets herself in a mess;  and now someone runs her car off the road and into a lake.  Is she dead? 

I’m getting use to the show without Rick Grimes, but I’m not there yet.  It appears that Michonne has the outs with the other communities;  not sure what happened the last six years.  The conversation between Michonne and Carol was very strained;  can’t wait to find out what happened there.  And Negan gets out because Gabriel didn’t lock the gate back.  Gabriel seems to have a problem with making sure a gate is locked; just like when he left the gate unlocked when the team first came to Alexandria.  What will Negan do now.  The Whisperers are the new enemy; along with now Negan.  

Tonight’s episode was about Thanksgiving.  It was very touching and the siblings come together to celebrate this special day.  Kate seemed more mature to me in this episode.  She helps her niece get through the beginning of womanhood.  Randall and his family serve the homeless community for a Thanksgiving meal.  He is officially running for City Council. 

We are getting closer to finding out about what happen to Jack’s brother.  His brother seems like a loaner and trouble maker.   They only showed Jack using and Ipad, which means he is still in Vietnam.  He is determined to find out what happens to his Dad.
