New show on Netflix.

It’s about Laura who is running from her past. Her daughter, Andy gets caught up in the middle and is determined to find out what her mother is hiding. It’s only one season and it doesn’t look like there will be a season two.

Laura has lived with her past for what seems like a lifetime. Andy turns 30 years old and her world is turned upside down from there. Laura sends Andy away for her protection but that’s not good enough for Andy. Andy goes on this mission to trace steps needed to help her survive and also learn the truth.

At the end, Laura comes out on top; and regains the life she left behind. This is a quick binge watch, but it will keep your attention.

Season Six Episode Seven

This episode is special and it will make you emotional. The family is celebrating Thanksgiving at the cabin and everything goes.

Randall is very emotional because he thinks this is the last Thanksgiving for his mother. He wants his kids to bond with their grandmother. He is taking all these pictures trying to catch all the memories he can. Beth eventually has to take the phone from him at the request of Rebecca.

Kevin is happy to have everyone there because he wants to show everyone his plans for the new cabin. He gets into it with Miguel who is only trying to help. Kevin is playing a guitar the entire time and getting on everyone’s nerves.

Kate is having a time with Toby. They are fighting the entire time and finally have to sit down to address the problem. Everyone is feeling uncomfortable.

Rebecca has plans to talk to all her kids to let them know her plans. She finally sits the kids down for a heart to heart talk. It’s very touching. She is very direct and picks a point of contact for her care as needed. I wasn’t surprised who she picked but you may be.

The show should start getting good now; and I can’t wait to see what will happen.

Season Two

This season starts out slow but ends with a bang!!

Kendall is trying to smooth things over with Logan but is doing drugs again. Kendall is trying to also recovering from all the drama he caused in season one. Kendall is willing to do anything his father ask him to do because of the tragedy he caused.

Shiv and Tom leave their honeymoon early to help deal with the controversy with one of the star anchors on their news outlet. Shiv is at the moment still working in politics, but is starting to focus on joining her siblings at the company.

Roman is still very immature. He is my least favorite character on the show. I don’t even think he needs to be working at Waystar Royco. Not much to say about him. Logan seems to listens to all the comments Roman’s make. Roman just seems so insecure with a chip on his shoulder.

Logan trying to buy a new television station. He and the family go for the weekend to the home of the seller’s where they have to be on their best behavior. All is going well they think the weekend went well. Later in the episode, the seller pulls out of the deal.

Logan is also trying to keep his company active; and will have to sacrifice one of his children to go to jail for him. He chooses Kendall. Kendall agrees to be the sacrifice but later turns on his father.

This show is a spend off from The Good Wife. Diane is getting ready for retirement but it is put on hold. All her money has been lost and she can no longer stop working. She can no longer stay at the law firm she has helped build so she gets an offer to go to a different firm; and takes the deal.

The new law firm she goes to is predominantly black owned. Diane has no problem with that because she has worked welled with one of the partners in the past. The female partner and the new firm is not happy to have her around.

Diane goes through a lot of changes this year and is ready to take on her new start at this law firm. She truly believes in the law and about to help everyone that comes through the office doors.

There are five season to the show so sit back and enjoy.

Season One

This show was a great find for me. I had been seeing it on my HBO Max, but never seemed interested in watching. I was so wrong not to watch this show before now. If you are looking for something suspenseful, you will love this show.

Mare is a small town detective that knows everyone in her small town. Her mother lives with her along with a daughter and grandson. Mare has a lot of hidden demons but is very dedicated to her job.

She gets called about a missing teenager. Everyone in the town knows this teenager and is devastated of her death. Mare’s job is to figure out who killed the teenager. She is turning over all kind of hidden secrets to finally get to the shocking truth.

Only one season and not sure if there is room for another season; unless she is solving another crime. You should try watching it.

Season One

New show I found on BET. It reminds me of another show with a similar genre. A group of people are living at this camp and follow the leader called “The Highest.” The people get there through false hopes but later learn, this camp is not all they say it is.

The Highest – He is a crazy drug using leader and wants everyone at the camp to be happy. There are so many bad things happening behind the scenes. He makes his soldiers do things that are far from anything you can imagine. He is very insecure; but in front of his people, he puts on this big brave show.

Andrew – He is an undercover FBI agent who has gained entry into the camp; and is doing some unthinkable things to gain the trust of “The Highest.” Andrew has left behind a wife and son at home to go deep undercover. I am waiting to see where this road takes him.

Dikhan – He is the right hand to “The Highest.” He is very serious and worships the leader. His main focus is to please and do whatever it takes to keep the leader happy and keep the camp going. He does have a softer side but rarely seen.

Ruth – She is becoming a very important leader. She is slowly gaining the trust of “The Highest” and Dikhan. Her main goal is to find a way to escape the camp. She brought her young daughter there under false pretense. and is now regretful of that. She doesn’t trust anyone and is always looking over her shoulders. She will do anything to get out of there. Ruth has a few people that are going to escape with her.

Brian – He is another FBI Agent that is undercover posing as a Sheriff in the nearby local office. He knows Andrew is on the inside and trying to also gain evidence to bring the camp down. He is hot headed and may do something to jeopardize the entire case. Hopefully it will not come to that.

There is a group of people pretending to be happy at the camp; but putting together a plan to escape this camp also. The question is can they trust Ruth. Watch the season and found out yourself how interesting this show is. Tyler Perry has done it again.

Season One Episode One

This show takes you back to the young Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha. The ladies are much older now but still good friends. Samantha is not with the ladies and has moved to London. Straight out of the pandemic, the ladies are adjusting to the new normal. I like the show so far. Don’t try to compare it to the old show.

Miranda and Steve are still together and their son, Brady is now 17 years old. She has quit her law firm and starting some college classes; being the oldest person in the class. She’s trying to blend in with the new climate and is always saying all the wrong thing; but she means well. She also tries her best to befriend her professor.

Carrie and Big are still living in the penthouse. They have survived the pandemic by listening to albums every night with dinner. Carrie is starting a job with a podcast group and trying to fit in. Carrie is talked into going to a recital and postpone her plans with Big to go to the Hamptons. At the recital, something happens to Big.

Charlotte is still with Harry growing old together. She is no longer working at the art gallery, but a full time Mom to Lily and Rose. Lily has a recital and wants her friends to be there for it. Charlotte is obsessed with a new friend she has met at the girls school.

Anthony and Stanford are even back; still married but having problems. The entire group is helping each other cope to life in their 50’s.

Season Two

If you like fast past and not a lot of episodes, you may want to check them out. The acting is also great in this show. The first season was good, so I’m glad they did a another season.

The season continues where Season one left off. Hanna in the first season committed suicide and the tv station is trying to get past it. Alex has left the show and is living secluded out of the city writing books. Bradley is now the head anchor. Not sure if I like the new executive staff that has been hired. I’m sure with the old CEO knowing about what happened to Hannah and didn’t do anything had a lot to do with him getting fired. Alex has been asked to come back to the show. Bradley goes through a lot this season also. She starts a new relationship; her brother comes to live with her and she has Alex to work with again.

The anchors are trying to accept their new positions at the station. The coronavirus is talked about some but everyone is ignoring the signs. No one is taking the virus seriously. Alex is trying to get ahead of the new book coming out about her and Mitch. She has lied to her husband all these years, so now the truth is coming out. They have announced a guest anchor until Alex’s return. There seems to be some conflicts with the guest anchor.

Alex is getting ready for her return to the show. Alex does an interview with Maggie who is writing the book. Alex is still paranoid about everyone finding out about her. Alex ask Chip to come back as her producer but no one seems happy that he is back. I like Chip. I think he is getting the cold shoulder because everyone thinks he should have known about Hannah.

The new executive team, Stella and Cory, are trying to keep the peace at the studio. The ratings are low and they just waiting for Alex to start back. They start to show more about Mitch and where is currently hiding out in Europe. He has a COVID 19 scare and has to quarantine. No one is still taking the virus serious back in the states. Mitch is reflecting on his life. He at first does not think he did anything wrong. Later in the season, he does have a moment.

Alex is due to make her big return at the debate in Las Vegas. She is have back problems and worried about the book coming out. She is panicking along with the back pain. She cancels her debate appears and disappears. She gets on a private flight to go found Mitch. She finds him, shows up at the house he is staying at, and has it out with him. Because of the quarantine rules in place in Italy, Alex has a hard time getting a flight back to the US. Why can’t people just follow the rules. She should not have not been flying over there in the first place. With Alex’s visit, Mitch starts to see how he has damaged other people’s lives.

Alex gets Covid 19 and everyone at the station is freaking out. Alex gets very sick and unable to work; but Chip comes up with an idea for her to go on camera. Chip wants Alex to talk about her symptoms and how she is doing. She agrees and starts the broadcast.

Great season if you like the behind the scenes tv station drama. Not sure is there will be a third season. Enjoy the show!

SEASON ONE

This show was not what I was expecting but now, I’m watching to see what happens next. It’s one of those shows that once you start watching, you can’t stop.

The Roy family is very disfuctional and very rich. You have Logan, Kendall, Siobhan, Connor and Roman. Also there’s Frank, Tom, Greg, and Gerri in the main group. And there’s present wife, Marcia. Logan is trying to decide who he will leave his empire to.

The season starts out with them celebrating Logan’s 80th birthday; and that he announces he is staying as CEO indefinitely. The grown children are not happy about that especially Kendall. He thinks the Logan should step down. Logan still has to decide who will take over the company.

Logan – he is the father and head of Waystar Royco. He is married to Marcia who seems to understand him. He does not seem to have any plans of stepping down like his son Kendall is hoping.

Kendall – I can’t figure him out yet. He seems to be the one that knows the business the best. He is ready to take over and disappointed when Logan stays and hangs on to his company a little longer.

Siobhan (Shiv) – She works in politics and seems to love what she does. She is not involved in the company right now. Her husband Tom works at the company and she gets her information from him.

Roman – he is just has the spoiled rich kid attitude. He works for the company, but really what does he do all day. He has these crazy thoughts and not afraid to say them out loud.

This entire season is about trying to get Logan to step down. Kendall is meeting with different investors and things get tense among the siblings. Season one also ends with a wedding.

Season One and Two

This show was also recommended to me and I’m glad I took the time to watch it. This is a mystery drama series. Talk about a woman scorned. Well, this doctor is and takes action.

You would think from looking from the outside that Gemma Foster has everything. She seems to have a happy life until she finds something and gets suspicious of her husband. From there, her world goes into investigator mode. She is a General Practitioner and the head of her office doing very well. She has a lot of friends and good patients. Her husband Simon better watch out.

Gemma goes to the extreme trying to figure out why her husband has another girlfriend. She is tracking his every move. Gemma does some crazy things; and the show will keep you watching to see what she will next. She has to remain the loving and devoted wife while she is secretly putting a plan together; so she can come out on top of the situation.

Season two goes into more depth about how Gemma is handling her new world . It also dives into her son Tom more. He was a victim by being caught in the middle of Gemma and Simon. Kids see more that you think. Watch to see what happens with him.

Not a lot of episodes for each season, but it will keep you interested on what will happen next. A quick watch on you may enjoy.
