Season One

If you like to solve cases, this is the show for you. The show is base in London where detectives investigate and solve crimes on cases that never got solved. I discovered this show on Amazon Prime.

A skeleton is found in an abandoned building and Detectives Cassie and Sunny are called to the scene to investigate this historical case. The group along with their team discover the body to be of a young man and they follow the trail where ever it takes them. And of who ever lives it disrupts.

The body is later identified as Jimmy Sullivan and Cassie and Sunny set out to search for his murderer. They found a diary that belonged to Jimmy so they start there.

Cassie and Sunny start to visit people that are listed in the diary and things start to get interesting. They visit Father Robert Greaves, who remembers Jimmy but he looks uneasy. What is he hiding?

The remains are examined further and marks of torture are discovered which means he may have been evolved with a gang. Cassie and Sunny seek out more people and visits a group of friends who say they know nothing.

Cassie and Sunny discover that a prominent person named Sir Phillip is involved but denies that he knows Jimmy. Later Sir Phillip makes plans to protect his family and try to save his reputation. Father Robert feels guilty and brings his family in to tell them about his pass.

Revelations come to light and in the end, Jimmy’s mother finally lays him to rest. Lives and families are ruined because a family member tries to cover up something that happened in their past. Great season!!

Season One Episode Five

Paul discovers he has not killed Annie Brawley and she is in the hospital. The other person was Annie’s brother that Paul killed. Olivia sees a CCTV video on the news which shows her walking with her Dad in the park the same day Sarah was killed. Sally Ann suggest that Paul goes to the police to say he was there so he can be pulled from the suspect list. Paul goes but suggest to Sally Ann to tell the police that he was home with her the night of the murder. When he gets home Sally Ann questions Paul why she had to lie. Paul makes up a lie and tells Sally Ann that he was with the babysitter and that they are having an affair.

Stella speaks to Dr. Smith’s friend who had a bizarre incident at university with someone named Peter. Stella later gets some forensic evidence from the letter the killer wrote to Sarah’s father. Stella later gets a phone call from someone who says he’s the killer after hearing Sarah’s father issued public request for the killer to stop.

DCI Eastwood confronts ACC Jim Burns after learning that Aaron Monroe had fled their jurisdiction. This is an entirely different plot to the story. Not sure how it’s connected to Paul yet but is has to be. Maybe because Paul’s first kill was the wife of Aaron Monroe. I don’t get the connection yet.

Season One Episode Four

DCI Eastwood tells Burns that he received a call on Olson’s phone that was made at a hotel by Rob Breedlove. Rob is linked to Aaron Monroe, father Morgan of Aaron and a prostitution ring. Rob is questions by Eastwood who gets scared and proceeds to kill himself. The whole office is shaken up over the suicide.

Stella is informed that Sarah’s father receives an anonymous letter for someone claiming to be the killer. The letter states that if he had know Sarah was pregnant, he would have have killed her. The father wants to put his phone number out in the public hoping the killer will call him but Stella talks him out of it.

Paul is going about his work life. Paul is approached by his boss stating that he was not supposed to visit one of his client’s Liz Taylor at her home. The father of the wife reported to Paul’s boss that he had gone by the house. What Paul was really doing was spying on his new victim but he could not tell his boss that so he makes up some excuse as to why he goes there.

Stella now believes that the killer could have a little remorse about killing Sarah. Pathologist, Reed Smith, who is on the case, comes to speak with Stella about her one of her friends who had a bizarre experience with a guy back in college. The friend comes forward and tells Stella she had a one night stand with a guy names Paul and that she thought he would kill her. She never reported this to the police because of her husband but now believes he could be the killer. In the meantime, while Stella is interviewing the friend, Paul is killing his next victim and a man she had in the house with her.

Paul’s killings are getting closer and closer in time and he is not waiting long like he was in the beginning. What is the rush? Does Stella believe the friend and is wondering if he could be the killer?

Season One Episode Three

Stella learns that the fallen office is Jimmy Olsen, who is the officer she had the one night stand with. Apparently Jimmy was into so some moonlighting with a prominent family, the Monroes. Stella confesses to ACC Jim Burns of having had sex with Jimmy, unaware that he was married Stella is advised by Burns to start carrying a firearm. The people Jimmy were involved with are criminals and he is not sure of her safety. Stella is also interviewed by DCI Eastwood who is in charge of the Olson investigation; she didn’t have much to say. Jimmy didn’t talk about what he was involved in so she was no help.

Stella later holds a briefing about the potential serial killer who has killed Sarah and possibly two more women. Stella later picks her team and they began working on the case. During her news conference, Stella tells the news that Sarah was several weeks pregnant. Stella wants the public’s help in locating who the father could be.

Paul takes his family to visit his wife’s parents. While he is there, he sees an old abandoned house and goes in to look around. He has already selected his next victim and I’m thinking he will use this old house to take her to. The mother in law tells Sally Ann that she thinks the necklace Paul gave daughter Olivia is not suited for a child but no one says anything. Olivia has a bad dream and wakes up. Olivia tells Sally Ann that knows about a book that her father keeps of naked pictures. Sally Ann thinks Olivia is having a bad dream. I’m wondering when Olivia will tell her about the hiding place Paul has for his bookbag.

Paul later leaves his in laws house since he has work to do but he goes to spy on the house of his new victim. He has decided that Annie Brawley will be his next victim. Later he hears on the news that Sarah was several weeks pregnant and feels guilty or does he?

Season One Episode Two

Paul is still in Sarah’s house after he has attacked and killed her. He is taking pictures and bathing her. He even paints her nails. Paul gets home from a second job his wife thinks he is working at and greets his family. What a psycho.

Sarah’s sister goes to look for her because she has not heard from her. The sister goes gets in the house with a key Sarah has given her. She goes upstairs to Sarah’s bedroom and finds her on the bed. First the sister thinks she is sleeping and tries to wake her up. The sister feels her skin and it is cold. The sister is frantic and then calls the police.

Stella is called to the scene of the murder of Sarah. She and other investigators go in the house to look for clues of the killer. The police that had gone to the house days ago to investigate a break end are also there and feel guilty that they let Sarah stay in the house after the incident. The police never reported the incident as strange so they tell Stella.

Paul is at home revisiting the events of the night before in his head. His wife is a nurse and has gone to work so he has the entire house to himself. Paul goes on about his day as if nothing has happened. Him and his wife meet his daughter’s teacher who says daughter is drawing unusual pictures. The daughter sees something I bet. Also the babysitter stops by and later founds a strand hair of Sarah that Paul had cut out of her head. Paul gets angry with he babysiter and scars her. The daughter hears the babysitter screaming and goes downstairs and see them through the cracked door. Is this why the daughter is drawing these pictures because of Paul? This has to mean something.

The body of Sarah is taken to the morgue and Stella is there to oversee the autopsy. Sarah’s father is called in to identify the body. Stella also founds out Sarah was pregnant when she died. Stella also thinks this murder is connected to others in the area. So sad Sarah’s life has been cut short. All because of this psycho Paul.

Season One Episode One

Came across this show on Amazon Prime this week. DSU agent Stella Gibson is packing for a trip out of town. She is the main character of the show, so will see what she is traveling out of town for.

Stella has arrived at the a police station where she is called in to investigate the death of a local women. She mets with everyone involved in the case and began to review the files.

Episode also starts out with a man, Paul, breaking in through a window on the bottom floor, going into the house of a single woman, Sarah, and looking through her drawers for panties and bras. The woman is out with friends at a bar and leaves early because of a business call. She gets to the house and Paul hears her coming and leaves quietly back out through the window.

Sarah gets home and goes into her bedroom to sees panties and a bra laid out on her bed. She calls the police and they search the house and find nothing. What a scary way to come home. I would be freaked out and would not stay in the house if I had somewhere else to go. Sarah could have stayed with her sister.

Paul gets home and is greeted by a child. Is this his son? Turns out he has a daughter also. They were alone in the house. What is this man thinking leaving two kids home alone so he can go stalk a woman. Turns out he also has a wife who comes home later while Paul pretends to be asleep.

Paul continues to stalk Sarah on a daily basis making her is next victim. Talk about how true with storyline could be. Show is based in the UK, but this could happen anywhere. This is a show that you would like if you like suspense and drama. It will keep you watching.

Season Five Safe

Season Finale. June is shown getting a package from her porch. She opens it and it’s a bulletproof vest. The events that happened at the memorial has spooked her. Even Luke is happy she has the vest now.

Mark stop by to give June and Luke news that the gunman from the memorial serves has been arrested . The question is, is he tied to Gilead? Then June walks Mark outside to walk him to his car. On her way back from Mark’s car, June notices a truck following her. She looks back and starts to walk faster. Out of nowhere this truck comes by and hits June. She can’t get up and the truck rolls past her on the ground. The person in the truck proceeds to run over June’s arm. Who is in this truck? Luke goes out and stops the truck, pulls the driver out of the truck and starts beating him.

June is rushed to the hospital and has to remain overnight. Guess who comes to visit her? Nick. Mark called Nick to let him know about June. Mark has made a deal with Nick; not sure what that is yet. June is asleep but Nick stays for a few minutes and looks over her.

Nick gets back to Gilead and confronts Lawrence with a punch in the face. Nick is then taken into custody. What has he done? Rose goes to visit him and tells him it’s over. Okay, bold girl. She does realize she is in Gilead and can not exist without Nick as her husband?

After June gets out of the hospital, they plan on their departure from Canada. They are due to fly out that night. Luke is confronted by Mark letting him know he is a wanted man for the death of the driver of the car. The airport would not be safe; but there was a train leaving for Hawaii and that would be saver. June, Luke and Nicole get to the train station and it is crowded with refugees fleeing Canada. They make it to the train entrance and Luke tells June to go ahead of him. June does but then realizes the Luke is not getting on the train. At first June hesitates but Luke convinces her to go ahead. As June boards the train, Luke is taken into custody by the police.

June is now on the train and looking for a seat. The train is crowded and she cannot found a seat in the front, so she goes to the back. June hears a baby crying and looks ahead and it’s Serena. June gives Serena a look as she goes towards her. Serena smiles and ask her for a diaper. You have to be joking!! Who told her about the train? Had to be Mark, of course.

The season is over. What will happen to June and Serena? Will they make it to Hawaii? What will happen to Moira and Rita who are left behind in Canada? What will happen to Luke since he has been arrested. And most of all, what will happen to Hannah now? We have to wait now for the sixth and final season. They have so much to uncover and so many unanswered questions.

Season Five Allegiance

Now this episode was packed with action. Starts out the June and Luke going to the airfield so they can watch the raid over Gilead. Mark introduces Commander Elijah Vance who is promising June and Luke he will bring Hannah home to them.

Commander Lawrence invites Mrs. Putnam over and he has plans for her. Mrs Putnam thinks she is there about her house and she has to move into a condo. She is offered to marry Commander Lawrence and she is stunned. Mrs Putnam looks petrified. Priceless. What else does she think is going to happen to her in Gilead? Really? She tells the commander she has to think about it.

June and Luke are at the command center and are excited about Hannah finally getting rescued. The air force raid goes bad and the mission is doomed. The US planes go down. Luke and June were very grateful to Commander Vance who died trying to save Hannah; and Mark is devastated. They have a memorial service for the fallen group who risked their lives trying to rescue the group of stolen girls. The memorial service goes bad and everyone’s life is threatened.

They show Hannah at the Wives Center. She hears the noise outside above the center and looks up. The Aunt send the girls all to bed. Hannah looks around and pulls out one of her drawings. She writes “HANNAH” at the bottom. She knows who she is!!! Hannah has been seen in front of everyone as an obedient, pristine future wife of the Gilead. The Mackenzies think Hannah is an angel from heaven who couldn’t be the daughter of June.   Hannah is playing them! She is truly June’s daughter.

And Serena has deep regrets about having to play along with the Wheelers. Not anymore! Now, Serena’s on the run trying to save herself and Noah. Poor Serena.  

Lots to unfold and worth watching. I was getting bored but now I’m back!!

Season One

If you want a quick show to watch and interesting, you may want to try this show. This is drama series based on a best selling novel about assistant DA’s world turned upside down when his son, Jacob, gets charged with murder.

Andy Barber is assigned to a case of a Matt McGrath found dead in the park. His son Jacob is the classmate of Matt. At first there is no evidence of who is responsible for the death of the Matt but as more information comes in, Jacob is looking guilty.

This is a limited series but worth the watch. It keeps you guessing and you want to believe Jacob is innocent. But is he??

Season Five – Motherland

First scene shows Serena in a detention center sitting in a chair with a breast pump. Doesn’t this just remind you of June at the Red Center pumping for Nicole. Serena gets a visit from Mrs. Wheeler who is only there to collect milk for baby Noah. They exchange a few words and Mrs. Wheeler leaves. Serena wants June’s help but why? June is not her friend.

In Gilead, Commander Lawrence is discussing his plan for New Bethlehem. Now, if you recall, Commander Putnam was not for the plan. Since Commander Putnam is gone, Commander Lawrence can try to bring all the Commanders on board. Now all Commander Lawrence has to do is get refugees from Canada to come live on his new island. Commander Lawrence is even convincing Nick to live on the island. I mean really, would you go back? No way!!

The Canadians are getting very aggressive and driving by June’s house all times of the day and night. June, Luke and Moira are out in the front cleaning the sidewalk where a group has made vulgar comments. Luke is devastated because he can’t believe people in Canada are acting this way. Luke even suggest to June they leave and move somewhere else. June is not moving anywhere else without Hannah.

June gets a surprise visit from Commander Lawrence. He is trying his best to talk June into coming back and live in New Bethlehem. June seems to really be thinking about it but Luke talks her off the ledge. Luke says he will not go live in Gilead none as New Bethlehem.

Serena has no choice but to go back to the Wheelers because they have been fostering her son Noah since she has been in the detention center. Commander Lawrence also goes to visit Serena and tells her she has no choice but to go back if she wants to see her baby. Serena is convinced they will treat her like a Handmaid. Yes, Serena. You get to experience a part of the world you help create.

Mark comes over and also tries to convince June not to leave Canada. June gives him a tape she received in the mail. Mark takes the footage back to the headquarters to see if something can be made out of it. Mark at least wants to see if he can get a location. Later, Mark will form an Army and has plans to go into Gilead to rescue Hannah. I’m sure Mark’s plan is not to just get Hannah but all the kids that are there.

This episode goes into so much more and is really starting to get good. The question is, will June go back to Gilead? Will Hannah get rescued? Will Serena stay with the Wheelers or try to leave. Hope you enjoy the episode as much as I did!!
