This is Us

Ok, this was the second episode of the season. They have these flashbacks which really help remember the past. Now the flashback they had about Jack, I did not really understand where they were going. Maybe it shows how Jack and Miguel were as friend. I did like that even though Jack had a bad day at work, when he got home to his family it didn’t matter about the day he had.

First day of school for the Pearson’s in their new school. Everyone is on edge trying to anticipate how their days will go. Beth tries to find out how the girls day went and no one is talking. The girls go to their room and talk among themselves. I’m thinking Beth is feeling left out. Did she forget how she was as a teenagers? Remember, teenagers do not want to tell their Mothers about anything. Deja likes a new boy at school; and he stops by her house to tell her he has a baby. She’s not sure how to take the news, so we will see where that goes. Did she forget that she came from a broken home? At least he had the courage to come tell her. Tess is sad because she thought the new school would help her be herself but she is still pretending to like boys. Not sure what to say about that yet.

Kevin is trying so hard to help Uncle Nicky, who seems so ungrateful. He is trying to help his uncle go to therapy and he is not interested. There is a flashback of Nicky going to therapy and doing good but his therapist gets moved to another county and he is not happy about that. Nicky gets so mad he throws a chair through the window of the VA center, gets arrested and that’s how Kevin ends up at his house trying to help. Kevin goes to group with his uncle but ends up talking about his issues. Kevin confesses that he wants to start drinking again but does not. We even found out that he did break up with Zoe. A new storyline what showed of the lady who is home from the service and has PTSD. Kevin befriends her son while both of them are in the waiting room. Where are they going with this?

Randall’s first day on the job. He is meeting his new team. There’s a flashback of Randall going to the 7th grade. He’s seems excited about being in a particular classroom until he gets a note for wearing Jordan sneakers to class. He has a panic attack and calls home where Kevin answers the phone. Instead of Kevin telling their Mom, he gets on his bike and ride to Randall’s school to talk to him. Now I see that Kevin is going to be there to talk Randall out of a panic attack in the future. Randall is having problems with his assistance but at the end of the day, he talks to her and basically tell her he is the boss. Well not in those words.

Kate founds out that Toby has been going to the gym working out. She’s sad because she’s gaining weight instead of loosing since she is home all day with the baby. Now Kate has a new friend in the grumpy neighbor that complains about Toby parking over the side walk. Now maybe she will get on the right track and get some time out of the house.

The show is off to a good start of the new season. I can wait to see all the stores unfold and the flashbacks.

Grey’s Anatomy

Ok. I’m ready for tonight’s show.

Meredith is doing community service and the court trial to save her doctor’s license is in three months. The community service group she is with learned she is a doctor and want her help. Meredith’s service boss has lump and her neck and it needs to be checked out. Meredith takes her to Grey’s to get it checked out and Dr. Avery does a biopsy. Now that she has helped this person, she wants to help them all. She is going to publish an article about people who can not afford health insurance.

Jo is back at work after being in a rehab center. Dr. Baily is surprised to see her since Alex is at the rival hospital now . She decides to start practicing again

Dr. Bailey is training the new interns now since Dr. Weber is at another hospital now. She is a little rough but I’m sure they will learn from her.

Amelia is telling — she is pregnant but he is not happy. She does not want to have the baby either. Then they both change their mind.

Kevin is going to group therapy now; but where is Zoe? Did she leave him? He has an offer for a new movie that will be filmed in Chicago and Kevin does not want to take the job because of baby Jack. Kate talks him to it and he decides to go.

Kate and Toby are having a nurse over to show them how to care for a blind baby. Yes, baby Jack lost his sight at birth. The family members in California are with her to learn a few tips. Kate is still in shock and trying to accept the fact that the baby will not be able to see; she has a break down moment. Toby and Rebecca are worried about her. Kate thinks the baby is blind because of her since all the doctors told her not to have a baby. She in the end decide to give Jack the best life every without any restrictions.

Randall and Beth are getting adjusted to life in Philadelphia – the new house, the new schools, Beth’s new dance studio. When the newness wears off, we will hope that the kids are happy with the move. Randall freaks out on the city bus trail run with Deja; who wants to take the bus to school. Randall insist on taking her. Tess gets a new haircut. They all talk about their worst case scenario to moving and all is good for now.

Great episode.

A Million Little Things

The show started out the the birth of the baby. All the friends know the baby is not Jon’s, but they go along with it. Finally Gary tells Eddie to go into the delivery room; explaining that he had taken Jon to the doctor’s office in the past to get a vasectomy. Eddie looks shocked, but heads to the delivery room. Regina smiles and lets him take over helping Delilah delivery.

Meanwhile, Katherine is having a hard time excepting that Delilah’s baby is Eddie’s. Only the group knows the truth and they plan on keeping it that way.

Now Rome wants a baby and Regina does not. Let’s see how this plays out.

Stay tune next Thursday.

Grey’s Anatomy

Episode tonight did not seem like Grey’s. The main characters are going to work at a different hospital. Meredith is about to loose her medical license; going to court. Dr. Weber is doing home visits; Miranda fires him.

What is going on here? Everyone needs to get it together. I missed last season and will have to go back to watch.

The show has not been the same since Derrick and Christina left.

9-1-1

What a way to start the show. A 16 year old takes his father’s vintage car out on a joy ride and the clutch breaks off; and the car will not stop. Athena has a plan to slow the car down with the fire truck. The kid bears down hard on the breaks, hits the fire truck and the car slows down.

Buck is throwing up blood – what the world!! What is wrong with him? Turns out he has internal bleeding. They had a party for his recovery and then he has this set back. Which means, he will not return to work now.

This lady calls saying someone stabbed her – What is going on?? Then Athena pulls a lady over with a newborn in the car. The lady on the phone was pregnant. Lady in the car is told to get out of the car after Athena sees blood all over the baby. Has this crazy looking lady taken a baby? Finds out that crazy lady cut the baby out of that other lady. What is wrong with people? She admits to Athena that she could not go home without a baby. Really? She just cuts that lady’s belly open; how did she cut the cord? They rush the lady to the hospital where the baby had been taken. The Mother and baby are fine in the end.

Great start to a new season!!!

2019 Fall TV Premier Week

I’m back! Time for Fall TV. The summer shows were good but they are nothing like the TV shows in the fall.

Most of my favorite shows are back. Shows like 9-1-1, The Resident, This is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, A Million Little Things, How to Get Away with Murder. There will be new shows on like Rise Up, Emergence and Evil.

My favorite show is coming back in October – The Walking Dead, which will be it’s last season.

So let’s get ready for some Fall TV!!! It all starts Monday!
