Queen of the South

Watched the latest episode and I will say, Teresa has some balls.  Who goes back to the United States when the have a 10 million dollar hit on you?  Who does that?  This episode had me sitting on the edge of my seat; like they all do.  When the sheriff put her in that car; I knew she was gone.  But as always Pote and James came to the rescue.  And Kelly is back!!  This new crew she has joined up with; I’m very suspicious of them.  Let’s see where this union takes us.  What are you thoughts?

Queen Sugar

I watched an episode of Season 2 last night; trying to get myself caught up again.  This episode,  Ralph Angel got engaged to Darla.  Aunt Vi throws them an engagement party with everyone there.  Aunt Vi is sick but they have not revealed what she has yet.  She keeps loosing her balance and has blurred vision.  I’m thinking it’s cancer.  In my opinion, Charley is becoming a whiner.  She thinks that the mill should start making instant money.  And she is upset the their Father left the farm to Ralph Angel.  Her mother comes to town to see her and trying to give her advise on how to run the mill.  I’m not sure what to think of the Mother yet.  Now, the mother and Aunt Vi have a few words.  From what I gathered, Charley’s Mother had an affair with the sibling’s Father.    It seems that Nova would be very upset if she see’s the Mother in town; because according to Aunt Vi, the Mother was never suppose to come back into town.  This will be interesting as it unfolds.  The sad part of the show was the reveal on how the police treated Micah when he was arrested.  Charley is furious as I would be too.  Micah held it in so long without telling anyone and that’s why he was acting out.  I’m sure Davis is not going to do anything.  What are your comments about the show?

13 RW

I have a coworker currently watching Season 1 and she is hooked.  This show is about the high school experience of teenagers.  When I went to high school, I didn’t have all this drama, or maybe because I knew how to handle it.  Teenagers are very cruel to some of the unpopular teenagers in this show.  I just want to scream through the TV and say,  life gets better after high school.  I was told by my daughter that at this time, this is all they know.  Maybe some teenagers don’t take pressure very well.  And the rich kid just think he is the almighty; I would hate to see what he will be like as an adult.  If you haven’t watched the show yet, you may want to.  Especially if you have teenage girls.  All I have to say is that this is a sad world we live in.  What are your thoughts?  If you haven’t watched the show, please do so.  Please comment.
